Spicy SW Quiche?

Hi all, I've been making "normal" SW quiche for myself and DH with smoked ham, mushrooms, onions and chicken but DH finds it very bland (although I love it). Does anyone have any ideas for how to make it spicy and give it more flavour? Obviously I could just add chillies or hot peppers to the mixture but I was wondering if anyone had any other groundbreaking ideas! Thanks in advance...

What about herbs, spices and other seasoning? Might be all that's needed x

I put some cajun spice in which gives it a little kick, also some crushed dry chillies x

Thanks everyone, some good ideas in there - particularly liking the cajun spice and mexican ideas. Sadly DH refuses to eat anything with mustard in it so although I'd like that (if I used mince too, that'd come out a bit like a cheeseburger quiche I think), it's no good for something we both eat! Might make two smaller ones instead next time then I can try that though. I'm also wondering if it's possible to make a curry quiche by marinating the onions and meat overnight beforehand, he'd probably like that. So many possibilities! Good job we both have a lot to lose so plenty of time to try everything, lol...

Good idea thanks Rosie, I suppose I'm just relatively lazy and it's quicker and easier to make one big one - note to self, must try harder!
