Hi all, bought a soup maker that's like a big kettle! Just making my first batch (veg soup - anything that's in the fridge) and was wondering anyone got any amazing SW Soup recipes for this? I never know how much stock to use! Any ideas
:)

Don't know if it'll help but I've quite a few soup recipes on my thread, if you click on the link below and maybe, Pete has some too on his recipe thread. I love my soup maker, as I'm sure you will too. :)

I get a packet of butternut squash soup mix from Waitrose, because I am incredibly lazy (but you could do the same with butternut squash cut into small dice, plus some red onion chopped, and some finely chopped chilli). Then I put it in the soup maker with 1 Knorr vegetable stock pot (or a chicken one), fill up with water to the minimum mark, and set to make a smooth soup.

any thing really x i make leek and potato , cauliflower and blue cheese (laughing cow blue cheese triangles), courgette and cheese, pea and ham and celery soup x

I just chop the ingredients, add a couple of stock cubes an onion and then water to the fill level. love my soup maker xxx

I do a really simple pea soup which I find yummy and very filling (even if it does look a bit like something off The Exorcist ) just frozen peas, a couple of small potatoes and an onion thrown in with a couple of veg stock cubes

Thank you for them ideas! I tried the butternut squash and it was a bit of a faff chopping it but it was really tasty soup. Did the one off the SW website! I can't seem to make a nice veg one... Need to try a few combos. So it's ok to blend all the veg but you can't blend fruit is that right?
Thanks :)
