Best Syn Free breadcrumbs alternative?

I'm posting this after reading the SW KFC thread - I want to know of any good and tasty alternatives for breadcrumbs when using them with egg to coat meat for oven baking - there's a few recipies I'd like to try if I find a decent breadcrumb alternative..

I use Lidl version of smash, holds up really well too, season really well

Is smash free? Sounds interesting - I may give smash a go on my next batch of syn free scotch eggs!

Personally I'd be inclined to syn the bread crumbs, it's not going to be too many syns.

I'm finding crushed ryvita wholegrain cracker breads to be doing the trick - 1 is only 1/6 of your daily HEXB

Not syn free, but cornflakes make very yummy breadcrumbs
