12 week countdown challenge

I joined again last night, and to show my commitment (and because its great value at the moment) I have signed up for a 12 week countdown....

So thought it a good idea to do a challenge, I would like to lose 2lbs a week minimum meaning 24lbs loss over the 12 weeks anyone care to join me?

Hi, I joined class tues eve & have 23lb to lose & also got the 12 week countdown so I'm up for this! Only diff is I'm breastfeeding my son so am supposed to have more HEX so when I post what I'm eating

So far today I've had porridge (hexA & milk hexB) with chopped apple & cinnamon.

I have sw lunch sat in the kitchen at the mo but my son is poorly so he's asleep on my lap & I daren't move cuz he took so long to settle & really needs the sleep. Superspeed soup & clementines on the menu.

Do you do red/green &/or extra easy? Hope you've had a successful day so far - we will shed this weight!!! X

Hiya both of you, what days do you both weigh in?
I am doing extra easy as my job sometimes sees me spending half my day driving from site to site so its easier to eat as I go!!
Well girls, what would you both like to achieve within the next 12 weeks?
 
I weigh on at Tuesday at class at 6:30pm & previously did mainly red days but now do a complete mixture - extra easy is great especially for cooking for the hubby too. I'll see how I get on when I weigh in but may have to do more reds as carbs have always been my enemy!

So... My goals...

1. I'd like to lose 18lb by the end of March which is 13 weeks but I have a holiday on 14th feb so I can do something nice for valentines day. Really I'd like the whole 23lb but as I'm breastfeeding I can't lose weight too quickly as it can affect the supply & quality of my milk so I must be sensible. Also I have to eat 4 extra HEX a day & use ALL my syns to make sure my milk isn't affected & I'm still healthy so I think that may slow down my losses.

2. Walk 15 miles a week with at least 5 of them being with my son in his baby sling & the other 10 pushing him in his pram. Town is a 3 mile round trip & my friends is 4.5mile round trip so I think this will be manageable, I'm just waiting for my wellies to turn up so I can get started!

Where in the country are you both? I'm in Devon = the need for wellies! How is your first week back on plan going? Mine was fab until I realised my chopped apple in porridge before cooking makes it synned rather than free! Grrr!

I bought a 12 week countdown last week also, put 4.5lb on over xmas and determined to loose it! Lost 3lb at this weeks weigh in, and id be happy with a loss each week to be honest. I never set myself a mini target in image therapy, i find i do better when i dont.

They sound good goals to me!!!

The walking one is great, good exercise which should definatly help your losses.

I live in Essex, and work full time so in the winter I must admit to becoming a little lazy on the walking front, we did however go for a few long walks over xmas to get back in the swing of things.
Starting back out on the mountain bikes tomorrow, do mainly offroad, and until 6 weeks ago we were doing 30 miles ish every saturday morning...dont think I will get that far tomorrow though but will get back up there soon I hope.

I am hoping that by 14th Feb I can have lost 14lbs...but we will see :)

When are your weigh in days?
 
Hi ladies!

I weigh in on Wednesday morning and I cant wait to see what the scales say as I feel smaller already :D

I would love to lose 24lbs in 12 weeks but that may be pushing it a tad.
Also aspire to get to the gym (for swim or a class) at least three times a week... AND... Dare I even say this... Complete 30 Day shread!!!!

Is 90 days do-able? Even for a porker like me?! z
 
Is the 30 day shred good, I saw it for a fiver in tescos on saturday but just wondered how much time each day it takes as I dont have much of that!!!

Well weigh in tomorrow for me, definatly dont feel bloated anymore, have stuck to plan 100% so feeling confident for at least the 2lbs off!!
How have your weekends been?
 
Wow! I've just googled the 30 day shred - cor blimey! Read a few reviews & it looks pretty amazing, & such a short workout is ideal & easy to fit in. Don't think I'm there just yet! Good luck doing it & please let us know how much you think it helps with losses!

I did 2 miles today with my son in the carrier/sling. I wanted to do further & would've done if I had the pram but I stupidly left it in the boot & hubby took car to work!

Have been 100% so far & weigh in tomorrow - really hope I have a decent loss but not sure with all these extra healthy extras!

Do you count your syns daily or weekly? x
 
I do my syns daily unless I know I'm going out and then I'll save them for the weekend! My weigh in is Wednesday night, I cant wait to see how Ive done this week!

Im going to google that 30 day shred now....
 
I do my syns daily as well, weekly doesnt work for me!

You did well today, I have been so busy in the office I hardly got to leave my desk which isnt ideal as I usually try to walk up and down the yard as many times as is possible during the day!! Have just walked the dogs though and cant believe how warm it is still.
 
5lb loss! Wohoo! So chuffed! And I have baby club on a tuesday (out for lunch with a few other friends with new babies) & today we went to pizza express! BUT I'd planned ahead & the last 2 days only had 5syns on each & had the leggara which is the salad filled pizza @ 25syns - 6syns foe Hea cheese so only 19 syns so just 4 over which I'd saved so still on plan (this is why do weekly syns). So pleased & it tasted incredible! My friends also got donuts after but I wasn't even tempted cuz I was so chuffed I'd had pizza! Oh & I won a pack of deluxe choc hi fi bars & just scoffed one - LUSH!!!

Wahooo thats brilliant you must be chuffed.....

I just got back from weigh in and have lost 6.5lbs well done us well on the way to our goals already....

Week two starts tomorrow so heres to another loss next week!!

I celebrated with 2 jaffa cakes lol x
 
6.5!!!! Wow that is awesome! Huge congrats! Im walking to meet my buddy on her lunch break tomorrow - 5 mile round trip! Feeling even more motivated now! X

4.5miles done & dusted today thank you very much & little man is still snoozing away :) My wellies have turned up so I will be going for a walk on the beach tomorrow & show him the seaside so that'll be about 5 miles with the baby sling. The weather is so nice, it's lush getting out & getting some fresh air!

Having red day today & bought some hi fi bars at class to help me eat all my heb (& then won more in the raffle! Lol!) Last week I know I didn't eat them all cuz I didn't know where to fit them in so this week I am making sure I eat all of them every day as I don't want to affect my milk supply & I'm doing more exercise. Think it may slow the losses but feeding is more important & as long as I get there I dong mind if it's a pound a week, it'll still be summer!

oooh.. i'm a week behind!! But i'll just have to do an 11-week challenge instead! ;)

I'm living in Shanghai at the moment - just got back from the most gluttonous trip back home for Xmas and New year - all the goodies I cant get my hands on out here were stuffed down my neck! Definitely in need of some discipline/motivation right now! I've been on track since monday (my usual must-start-my-diet day)! Still a bit jet lagged - but not going to give in!! The first week back on the wagon is always the hardest!!

How is everyone doing so far? Week one gone as planned?
