A new team for all those struggling at the moment. So lots of gentle hand holding with occasional kicks up the butt for all those that have fallen off the SW wagon but are desperately trying to clamber back on.

So feel free to post your food diaries if that helps to keep you on track, chat about your good days and bad. And offer/get support from people who know just how you are feeling when the wagon seems to be trundling off into the distance without you

We can do... and we will do it :D

My name is Cai and I'm a long time follower (13 month) new time struggler!! (4 off plan days this last week!)
Gained an amazing 5lbs in those 4 off days but it could have actually been so much worse!! I did turn some things down! Lol.

I'm here following a 100% plan day yesterday (Saturday 18th) and am 50% through another 100% day! :)

I'm hoping my huge gain can be turned into a huge loss!

My diary, I think, is linked here in my signiture (I use my phone mainly!) so anyone want to check/comment please feel free!!

I'm Smartie, been following the plan for 22 months and got up to a 5 stone 4 weight loss. Thought that I had 'made it' and was feeling good about myself for the first time in years. For the past 6 months I have been struggling gaining more that I have lost. Not gained anything significant but all those 0.5's 1's and 1.5's have lead to almost a 1.5 stone gain in that time.

Now I am trying to get back to some sort of consistency ... only having 3 or 4 days that are 100% means that I will almost certainly gain and that doesnt help my motivation levels. But its just so hard to string together the 100% days at the moment. I wake up each morning feeling postive but as soon as I eat something off plan I go haywire and cant stop the 'I've blown' it feeling so may as well carry on.

My mind set has gone completely askew!
 
Cai, is it only that past few weeks that you have been struggling? Can you pinpoint it to something thats happened?

I am tucking into a ham salad sandwich made with SW regulation bread :cool: although I did unconsciously automatically reach for the white - but I put it back

I am Kx and I am struggling!!

I have been on SW for, well most of my life!!! From its old red & green days with sins, where the only free stock was bovril until now, off and on!!

I have been at target pre-marriage when I was superfit and under 9 stone. I have ballooned to around 14 st 7lb with my first pregnancy , then became a target member at about 2 years later!! But after my 2nd pregnancy, where I refused to weigh myself after getting into the 18 stones, I am still struggling.

Last year I joined Minimins, in Feb 2011 and by the summer (August) I reached 10st 10lbs!! I then have lost it off and on (which is evident in my diary - I do a lot of disappearing) and today I am back in the 12's a place I don't want to be.

I need motivation. But I'm not sure where it's gone or even what it is.

Anyhow - 100% yesterday, and so far today also. It's a tough week ahead too .

I'd say I first started struggling in September, not badly, just the losses slowed right down so my motivation took a hit...but then I kept at it and it always came off!

Did really wellthats over Christmas and new year - gained half then lost 2!
An then again the losses were slow...I kept going, had lost 8.5lbs so far this year only leaving me with 7lbs to target...then this week came.

I'm a teacher so was off work - hubby bought me a huge box of chocs for valentines day! :) I knew he didn't like them si shouldn't have been in a rush to eat them but I was!! Lol. Ate the lot between Monday night and Thursday night!!
Tuesday (valentines day) I was going to have a syned Chinese, but it was closed!! So with it being late we ordered from a Mexican - syn city!!
Then on Wednesday I went for Greek food with ppl from work / this had been penciled in the diary for months! The meal itself wasn't too bad, should have not eaten ad much pitta bread...but I got home and carried on eating!
Thurs wasn't too bad, was just finishing off chocs! Oh and a slice of White toast!!
Then Friday, again wasn't as bad as it could have been cos I was v busy, but we had planned pizza hut (my hubby's favourite!) and I just couldn't get out of it! I didn't have a dessert there tho...I shared a doughnut when I got home! Lol

Yesterday was a fab red day! :) minimal syns, lots of shopping/walking

Today so far is ok - it's a green day due to lack of food shopping! Had both my hex b's and I'm basically having a hungry day!!
Think it's also not helped by going bk to work tomorrow!!!

Really fed up, WI this morning and yet again STS. I've lost a total of 4 1/12 lb since 15/12/11. My god that is over 2 months ouch. :cry:

I did well over xmas and have only ever put on 1 lb once which was week before 15/12/11.

Last week tried a full week on Red but still no change.
Haven't got a clue where I am going wrong so started a diary again yesterday to see what I am now doing different.
Although I am always full, I have a feeling that as probably over half my food is SF that I am not having enough calories.
So as well as a diary, I think I might have to also add up a few days worth of calories and see if that's where I am going wrong. :confused:

That's a good idea!! :)
How many syns do u have daily?? I def do not always have enough syns, sometimes just upping my syns by having an extra hexb at 6syns is a healthy way of having more syns! :)
Or a hot choc at night!
Or my favourite is forcing myself to eat a chocolate or 2! Lol. It never slowed down my losses tho! Maybe worth a try!

Look on the bringthe side, at least you've not just had a massive gain like me!! Lol xx

Wow Cai, I'm postively drooling at your syn fest :eek:

I agree with you when the losses slowing down. throwing you off track. I lost 4 stone in 6 months and then I hit a brick wall. To lose the next stone took almost a year, so I am gutted that its back on :( But I must stop thinking like that *slaps wrist*

Even though I have admitted my gain I still havent got it in me to change my stats because I know I have gone back into the obese category, and I was so proud when my BMI went to under 30.

I'm off to cook a SW Roast for dinner.

And, no more disappearing K :p *ties K to the thread*

Welcome Angem, it would proably be worth your while looking at your calories, to see if maybe they do need upping. Crazy diet where it is actually possible that you dont eat enough isnt it?

Well I have had an enforced 100% day so far, which I spose is good but I am on a mandatory work experience thingy, and it doesnt appear that lunch breaks are part of it. It took me three attempts to finish my sandwich because I had to keep helping people :mad:
 
Can I join? I'm Laura, just turned 25 & lost 2st 7lb in a year odd but been playing around with the same 4lb for about 6 weeks.

I gained 7lb over Xmas then keep yo-yo ing up & down.

Currently gained 2.5lb over my birthday/valentines which I'm fine with but I seem to have hit a bit of block mentally. Bah.

I need a good kick!

Well...thought I'd done really well today but just found out the uncle bens rice pots are now syned!!! :-( gutted! Need to look them up for exact amounts.

So now I've had a lot more syns then I thought and no treat-snackfor me tonight!

I know luvvie. I stick to the express rices - they are around 2 syns so big improvement!!! Or Ainsley couscous!!
