Come on chaps!!

How are we all doing?? Lets stick together and beat the ladies!!
:party0023:

Afternoon,
You have lost 2 stone so you must be doing something right mate!!!
My main incentive at the moment is I am going to Butlins with the parents and boys from my youngest lad's football team and I was just shy of 19stone when it got arranged!!
I know their is going to be a lot of swimming as well as football while we are their and I want one of the boys to stand out more while they are playing football rather than me when we go swimming, lol
I have about 2 1/2 months to improve this before Butlins!!
I am close to losing 1 1/2 stone so far so all good but plenty more to achieve!!

I have also been amazed about what I can eat but still finding a few beers on a saturday night hard not to have, but have changed this too a few rum and diet cokes!!

Lol its taken 8 months to lose that.

I'm running now, 5k race in a month, 10k in september then hopefully the great north run next year.

I have switched from extra easy to green and original days and I enjoy them a lot more!

I am very impressed with a 5km run, I know I am not up for that at the moment. My dog has been benefitting as I have been doing about 4-5 miles walking each day as well as doing about 30 lengths (900metres) swimming 2 or 3 days a week!!

Hi guys,

i have been doing sw for 14 months now and i've lost 7 stone (+/-). i'm going the gym roughly 3 times a week.
one of my goals is to get down to wear all large clothes by this xmas.. so 2 pant sizes and 1-2 shirt sizes.

I have talked about doing a 5k funrun, don't know if i would do it this year or next, but i can do it in the gym not tried it outside on roads or paths yet.

keep up the great work gents :D

Wow 7 stone, excellent work mate, Ihave to admit that is my real target, it would bring me down to pretty much 12 stone!!

I have been told by my GP that if I have lost weight after another 3 weeks I will get free access to the council run Gym and swimming pool. If that happens I will definatly make the most of the Gym!! :D

Tell me to mind my own business but do you have much more to lose for your target??
Great to meet you pal!!

thats great, going the gym is probably one of the best things i have ever done, hated p.e. in school.. guess i had to wait 15 years to get my head in the right place..

if i go by what i 'should' weigh i still have about 5+ stone to loose (oh my :( ) but i will probably be happy with another 3 ish.. i might hit that by xmas or next april. not in a rush to get there. i'm just going one step at a time.

Wow, so that averages out at a loss of about 1/2 a stone a month so far, I know I will be chuffed if I can average that over the next few months!!
Well done so far mate!!

thanks.
i think it's mostly because i had weight to lose, i know that it's going to get harder to shift the more i start to get rid of.. but i'mnot in a rus, it took me years to get fat so it can take me years to get to a good normal weight.

good luck to your weight loss future

2lbs iff this week. Extremely happy its started going down again! Dunno whether to chance a run today. My chest has been bad but doesn't feel too raw today.

Well done mate, I am doing well today, have only 3 syns so far today and my mrs was well chuffed when I cooked her a english breakfast, had a ww sausage amongst it so not totally syn free but still lovely!!

Lol nothing beats a good full english :D

I ditched the treadmill today to run outside for the first time ever. Was much tougher but absolutely great fun. Running outdoors is much more enjoyable! It cleared my head cold quite well. My chest has been playing up this week which has been a bugger lol. Hoping thats why this run was harder lol!

For some reason I have put weight on this last couple of days and still been staying under my 15syns!!
I do have a feeling the weight is stuck inside me as not had to lock a door on a small room for the last 2 days!!

probably eating too much of something or not drinking enough water to flush out the nasties.. don't worry about the gain, the weight goes up and down all day and week, what matters is the weight on the weigh in, a loss is a loss, and even if you do gain a pound or two don't let it get you down just keep going ;)

over xmas and early jan i put on 10lbs, took me 6 weeks to get rid of it.. life gets in the way sometimes and you have to just not roll over and take it. dust yourself off, head up high and keep going ;)

Permission to come aboard captains- Looking for a group just like this one! A natter and a kick up the ass if i need it- I will offer the same in return...of course!!!
A little background info on myself- started my diet on january 18th 2011 and initially the weight fell off like a lead balloon. I spent 7-8 months on 1200 - 1400 calories and evertually my body wouldnt shed anymore weight... thats right i hit a PLATEAU!!! I gave myself time off to reset my body after 4 months of my weight not moving....In december 2011 I gave up smoking and piled on a good few lbs.

Fast forward to this week, i am here to try EE as an alternative to my low calorie diet i was on previously.

Your all doing really well and keep up the good work guys!

Sorry for being so slow Mr plumber but welcome to the Gentelmans club,

I am sh1t faced so another sorry, but I must be feeling guilty otherwise I wouldnt be here!!
Welcome aboard!
All has gone well today, until Everton kicked off against spurs and then back to the old days, plenty of beer and the usual crap that goes with it!!
Only positive I can find is that it was all low syn crap rather than high syan crap. Their is always a positive if you look hard enough!!
I am sure I will feel like a proper knob head in the morning but not at the moment, lol

Late night boozed up forum text...EXCELLENT! I am only 5 days in so cutting out all the guilty pleasures for a little while till I get my feet planted.
Enjoy the bad head and ill look forward to the "never drinking again" rant in the morning
