30 day shredders

Have searched for a Sw thread for those doing the 30 day shred but can't find one. If there is one already I apologise

I am currently on day 4 of the shred. I had to have a break after day 2 cos I couldn't walk. But other than that I'm loving it!! Is there anyone out there currently doing it? Thought we could share tips, moan about jillian and her toned bod, and just give each other encouragement to keep at it when the going gets tough

I was about to start again today! I go to the gym as often as I can (3-4 days a week) but I have a BMI of 29.9 and I am far from fit!
I am desperate to lose 2.5Stone and as soon as I can to be quite honest!!! I have a wedding on the 9th June to attend, and I would love to appear slimmer!

I might start in the morning now...the Other half is not so supportive.:cry:
 
Wow! That sounds brilliant, well done! I would love to lose some inches this month.

He is not supportive as for some reason he likes to use it as ammo to start a row. Other than that he is a lovely man, one of the nice ones! haha

Maybe he feels threatened. Some men worry that I'd their partners lose weight they'll run off. My hubby doesn't want me too thin. Which means under a size 12 but I will get to a size I'm happy with. It's my body at the end of the day lol

Can i join in? I started yesterday, and i need to do day 2 tonight but im hurting all over! Dunno how i will get through it but will try :)

Day 2 done and it really didnt hurt at all :) found it hard but slightly easier than yesterday!

I would love a day in bed, my my DD wouldnt let me! Hehe x

Haha by rest day I just meant don't do the DVD. My rest day included a 5 mile walk and cleaning a house for 2 hours lol. I felt ok doing it it was after.

What's your favourite bit in it? I like the punches and the side lunges. I HATE the normal lunges I feel like my legs are gonna fall off. I have started doing extra stretches at the end cos I don't think she does enough

I hate the crossover crunches and bicip curl lunges, and like the buttkicks and the skipping, and i love the cool down! How are you guys doing? X
 
Hey everyone. I am on day five tho its not every day I do it. Aiming for every second day at least. Did it two days in row Fri and sat and felt tired. Eeeek hate the side lunches, kills my arms. PRefer ab work out and fairly rubbish at cardio tho definately getting better. Have you seen tho bit the camera moves off Natalie and she stops doing the lunges haha caught. I like Jillian but sometime she makes me lose my focus....good thread x

I don't like that Natalie she looks like she doesn't want to be there. When jillian says at the beginning that we can have a body like hers in no time isn't that right Natalie? She says yeah then as jillian walks away says yeah again real sarcastic. Stupid woman. I don't want a body like hers her legs are far too muscly for my liking. Not that I run that risk lol. Day 5 for me. I'm not even aching anymore I did day 3 and 4 back to back too. I think I'll move on to level 2 before the 10 days is out.

I definately Agree- I stretch more at the end too!

I like the ab work!!!! and the weights on the floor- they definately bring my heart rate back down, which is something I really struggle with during exercise. Mine is over 191 during a run on the treadmill.:eek:

What size weights are you using? I am using the only ones I have, 1.5. It really hurts doing the bicep curls, so may need to get bottles of water or tins!
 
I doing mine again tonight when DD goes to bed, and im actually looking forward to it! :)
Im using 1kg weights, should i be using heavier ones? I have 1.5kgs and 2.5kgs weights aswell xx
 
I only can find one 1kg, so have been using 1.5kg. All I can say...OW!
 
Thinkagem - i used 1.5kgs last night and it was so hard! Nearly killed me!

But i can tell its working, 3 days in and ive lost an inch off my bust, waist, hips, thigh and 1/2 inch of my arms :)

How did you guys get on?
