Slimmer and sexy for santa

I'm in! Been finding it a bit difficult lately, so a new challenge is just what the doctor ordered.

Currently -- 14st 11.5lb
Xmas Target -- 11st 11.5lb
 
We're just about the same weight too! Have you decided on a final target? Mine is a very tentative 9st. Seems like a long, long road when I think of it like that, but I started out at 18st and so am 1/3 of the way there!
 
My original target was 10st but if I can do this I might like to maybe go for an extra 1/2 lb

Well done you on your loss so far!!! That's amazing I never weighed myself to start with was too scared to but as I had lost a noticeable amount I decided to take the plunge and join sw but I have had trouble keeping up that initial motivation.

A relative who was by far the biggest in the family recently lost 10st and the realisation hit me its now me!
 
Yeah I used to be the biggest in the family too. My mum is now the biggest, and I'm hoping she'll eventually pick up the motivation to do it herself.
 
Weigh in for me in Friday I have had two really good days but have stuck to generic chicken salad/chicken and veg etc

I have to find things that will do or i can adapt for the whole family cooking several meals every night has me reaching for things I shouldn't or eating too little because I can't be bothered to cook yet another meal for me after kids and oh's dinner!!
 
There's loads of recipes on here, I'm sure there's a few your family would love. Two firm favorites in this house are smash pizza and minced beef hash. Mmmmmm *drool*

WI for me is Thursday mornings... had a good week so far, apart from having a chinese and few glasses of wine with my OH on Saturday night. At first I could get away with that sort of carry on but this far in, every slip up is against me, so I'm not looking forward to my WI this week.

What do you usually eat? There should be no reason for you to cook seperate meals for the different member of your family. My OH does all the cooking and we all (including my 18 month and 4 yr old boys) eat the same. This is a healthy eating plan that should fit into your life. I suppose it depends upon what you used to eat but all we had to do was tweek how we cooked things such as switching oil to fry light and making sure we up the veg in things like spag bol.

If you put what meals you used to eat I'm sure we can give you a slimming world way of cooking them - you can even have a slimming world pizza!!
 
But I'm losing like half pound a week ;-( I need encouragement to stay on plan. My weigh in is on Monday's I hope u get on ok. Hav u been extra good this week? X
 
Yeah sorry no more than my 15 syns although been having about 8-10 and counting them accurately not "forgetting" about things I know I shouldn't have had
 
Hey guys... 3lb lost - 39lb to go!
It's my birthday Monday. Think I'm going to have to use weekly syns again, and the majority of them on Monday.
