Your Body Magic

I couldn't find an active thread for this, and dunno if it'll catch on, but I'll use it!

What body magic have you done today?

I swam 16 lengths, which takes me on average 50-60 seconds each length. Swimming is hard to calculate as body magic if you have a general bop around though as well! But after an hour in the pool pushing my Goddaughter around while her mum swam as well, I'm gonna count it as 30 minutes :)

I walked home from work today it's a 2 mile walk and took 30 minutes, I also walked to school to get my son but I don't count this as this was something I did before I joined. I'm also going to start the 30 squats and 30 crunch challenge which was posted on here the other day this weekend. Well done on the swimming I enjoy swimming but I just don't have the time because my other half works away so I don't have anyone to look after our son :( but every little helps I suppose :)

I tried this a few days ago asking for it to be a sticky but go very little response :(

I did 30 mins on the exercise bike at the gym, and a 20 mins run - feeling good :D

I walked the dog for 40 mins :)

That's fab I'd love to start running but I nearly keel over jogging to the top of our street let alone running 6 miles lol :)

Have you tried the Couch to 5k plan?? I also thought exactly the same as you, and this plan eases you in. I can now do 2 miles...getting there!

Races in the park with the twins I nanny for, double swing pushing (good for the arms lol) an hour of Zumba plus half the 8 minute arm workout on youtube (first time trying it and I couldn't hold my arms out any longer)

That was all in one day?!! That's pretty epic =D I've started to do pull ups...had to laugh at myself! :)

Wow, dedication! You working towards an award?

Nope! Just trying to get fit at the same time as getting slim, anything to avoid the dreaded bingo wings! ;) Should probably see what awards I'm on track for though, have been doing this for about a month now!

My body magic sounds poo compared to everyone else's!!

20 minutes of walking the dog :(

In the words of Tesco, every little helps! :D It's taken me years to build up to what I'm doing now x

It's the bingo wings I am trying to get rid of!

Unfortunately we're in a terrible area for walking, on a main road with no provisions for walkers :( I could walk for miles!

Decided to start the 30-day squat challenge. I've worked out before, so found the Day 1 challenge to be a bit too easy, decided to keep going until I couldn't do anymore and make that my starting point +5 per day - 90 yesterday and 95 today... 100 tomorrow and I can barely get myself up the stairs!
Not timing it for an award though, just doing it this week to try and boost myself, along with SE!
