30 Day Shred :)

I have started this today and wondered if any fellow SW'ers would like to join me?

It starts on level 1 and you progress through.

I watch mine on YouTube. Can safely say ill sleep tonight after it :)

Hi, well done for starting 30DS, it's great. I am a huge fan of Jillian's and I'm doing Ripped in 30, well I was until I cracked my ribs doing something else and it put a stop to it 5 weeks ago. I'm hoping to start again next week so I'll pop back and see how you getting on and report my re-start. Two things to point out, careful with the jumping jacks, they can cause knee pain, and prepare for not being able to walk for a few days, even sitting on the loo can be painful, but that will go after about 4 days if you stick with it and work through it. Good luck.

Hi

I just started this today too! I thought as there were 30 days in June it would give me a good countdown of how far I've got lol.

I've tried doing it before and never got pass day 3 so hopefully will keep going this time, tho I did feel like I wanted to give up during the first bit of cardio and I also had my boyfriend tell me I wasn't doing things properly- I could have thrown the bloody weights at him!

Just had a sneak peak at level 2 and have no idea how I gonna cope with that...

Hi, after about day 8 - 10 you will really start to notice a difference in your fitness which gives you a real boost. Don't feel that you have to do it 30 days straight, taking a day or two off each week is not a bad thing.

I started this on tuesday day 1. Ive not been able to do yesterday or today as my leg was sore so doing day 4 tomorrow. X

Hi I have just completed day one of the 30 day shred and paused a few times but managed to finish it, how is everyone else getting on?

I finished Level 1 yesterday so moving on to Level 2 today!

Got such sore stomach muscles today!

I was gonna do day 2 of level one today but have just been down my allotment and managed to hurt both my wrists- damn weeds, the base of my left hand is tingling now so best not to push it :(

Right! I have not been on here for some time nor done the shred since last February!! Day nearly killed me but I soon got into it and was amazed how fast I got fitter!! Going to start again tomorow. What I really like is that it is is over and done with so quickly but still has fab results. Since turning back into a couch potato although I have not regained any weight I am much fatter. It really is time to finish what I started. Am joining slimming world on Tuesday. Hoorah. Bev

I'm having a rest day, couldn't do the abs exercises yesterday as abs r so sore! It hurts to cough lol

That's what I'm like, going to the bathroom is so funny too. I just stand there with my hands on the wall laughing at the state of myself!!

Active recovery does work though, fighting through the pain!

Hey guys can i join in? I've just done day 1 level 1 this morning - didn't find it too bad actually other than the side lunges with weights which nearly killed me! May try level 2 tomorrow - will see how much I'm aching in the morning:)

I didn't find it too challenging when I was doing it, my challenge came this morning when I rolled over to turn my alarm off and - OH MY ABS!!

I don't mind the pain though, I must be a bit of a sadist - it makes me feel like it's actually working!!

I done day 2 at level 1 this this morning and felt ok whilst doing it but now I'm at work I can feel my body slowly seizing up as I have a very sedentary desk job!

My butt muscles are killing me even to sit on and when I start walking I look like a duck! Hopefully?!? Will feel it more in my abs tomorrow as that area defiantly needs toning!

Haha I will look forwards to the morning then:) yeah I don't mind it either like you say - makes you feel lie you are actually doing some good! Went for a massive walk for 2 hours with the baby on my back as well so hoping some calories burned there too!!

Just had a quick look on U Tube at this workout. How does it work? Do you do level 1 for so long then switch to level 2 or do you stick with one of the levels? Thinking about trying this but just signed up for 30 day squat challenge wonder if I can manage both of them at the same time

I was wondering the same thing about level one and two - how long do you stay on level one for. I'm doing the squat challenge as well, although nearly finished - hoping will be fine together - or rather that I will be ...
