Cross Trainer 100k Challenge

Thought I would pop this in here in case anyone wanted to join and also to keep me honest and give me a bit of motivation!

I have a cross trainer that for one reason or another has been gathering dust and has been used more for a clothes horse than anything else recently! Anyhow, I want to get back into using it and I though that by setting myself a challenge it would help me do it!

So, I know it is the middle of the month but I am aiming to do 100k on it by the end of July. There is a timer/distance/cals burned on the cross trainer so using this to keep track.

If anyone wants to join pop in and post- could even do it with an exercise bike too.
 
I don't have a bike or cross trainer yet (wonder how many steps 100k is lol) just wanted to give you some moral support xx

Hi, thansk for popping by- need all the support I can get lol. I was lucky enough to be gifted the xt by someone a few years back when I as trying to lose weight for my wedding but after that to be honest it has mostly been used to throw clothes over!

Can't begin to imagine how many steps! Anytime I've tried to use a pedometer or anything they never seem to work for me!
 
Wow it is so hot! Didn't get on xt yesterday as I was out all day with the kids walking about and too busted/warm to do anything more than think about it!

Squeezed in 20 mins today after being out walking all morning so quite pleased with myself! Really is nicer outside though, should have set myself a walking challenge instead.

Anyway today:

Thank you! It has given me a bit of motivation to keep going but i started back to work yeaterday after a week or two off and never got near it! So it will be interesting to see how i get on this week.

How about u? Ru following sw and do u keep a diary? Treadmill will def be a good boost 4u.
 
We set it up yesterday and I did 1K but had to turn it off as it was quite noisy and I didn't want to disturb the neighbours lol. I am following sw and have a weight loss diary on here x
 
I know the feeling even the xt seems loud and don't use when the kids are in bed as I'm afraid of waking them up! Hard enough to get them down as it is. I will have to keep an eye out for your diary, love reading others for ideas!

I managed 20 mins today which wasn't bad as I have had bad cramps the past few days.

Did a quick 15mins squeezed in before i head out shopping. 5.8k and 87 cals burnt. It is an improvement as all i wanted to do was curl up on the couch and have a cup of tea!

Yesterday i managed 25mins so 7.88k and 118 cals.
I would have manages more but ds2 woke up crying and didnt go back to sleep until after 12 so that put paid to that!

Today is the last day of the challenge so i am hoping i can make the 100k point. When i started it seemed like a challenge but quite manageable however at times it has seemed near impossible.

Some positives to take from it though- i have been squeezing in 10-15mins here and there so if i want to do it i can. It may not be much but it ia more than the alternative (couch) so if i can even keep that up and maybe a bit longer at weekends that would be good.
