12 week xmas challange

Hi all...12 weeks until xmas now, and you can do a lot in 12 weeks! Lots of difficult events, nights out, work do's etc ahead, so maybe this will be something to help spice up your 12 weeks and keep it varied. I personally will be modifying the 12 weeks as some are not possible due to being vegan and on green days...will post up an amended plan, but you're welcome to do your own or follow your own ideas. Either way it will be good to have 'mini targets' to work towards, as its easy to lose track as the days shorten and we look forward to the holidays.

Who's in?? This is week 1, so I'll be reading through my books, looking up recipes etc and thinking forward to next week. We'll run it Mon-Sun, this week being week 1, and I'll post up progress etc on this front page.

I'm going to aim for 15.5lbs off, which will take me to 12 stone. Would be lovely to be at that weight for xmas/new year :) I'm going to buy a 12 week countdown on Thursday as a commitment to do my best.

Hello, I'm a new 'poster' here, been lurking a while but think joining in will help me along.

I'd like to join the challenge, I WI on Mondays.

My goal is to lose 14lbs by Christmas.

Ooh I'd love to do this - ties in nicely with the 12 weeks of Christmas cards we were given at group!

12 weeks at 2lb ish.. 26lbs please!

I know it seems big, but I've holiday weight coming off this week so will give me a head start lol. Hopefully!

Am 13st 11.5 atm and would love to be 12 stone for new years!

I weigh in Monday which will be week one of my countdown!

Hi, I'm very new to this group and I just love a challenge

Is it too late to join now but I would love to be in the 14st range by Christmas so I'm aiming for 16Ibs for Christmas
 
Yay welcome on board everyone....

I didn't get my countdown today as the offer for a free book starts next week...So, we can start the 12 week countdown then, but I'm going to count losses from this week too, this will take us to xmas week :) i have 14lbs to go now!
 
Right I've been working like a dog the last week - will do a good update tonight :)

im im getting a countdown tomorrow, let's call this week 'week one' of the challenge to give people time to figure out targets and get on track etc. 12 weigh ins from today and 2013 will be coming to an end, let's hope we all reach out targets and enter 2014 skinny Minnie's :)
 
I've read my books cover to cover about 3 times this week! 100% on plan so hoping for a good loss at WI on Thursday. Eeek.
 
Amazing!! I'm on a night shift tonight so gonna flick through books and mags for ideas. I tend to eat thr same things a lot of thr time mainly due to cost and the shifts I work but there must be other options ...
 
I tend to eat mostly the same things too, especially with fruit..always apples, pears and bananas. So this week I tried to get in more different fruits, especially superspeed so have been enjoying melon, strawberries, raspberries and satsumas. I'm sure you'll be able to find some inspiration for different meals :)
