    August Running Challenge

    After a previously successful 4 week running challenge, we're going to try again with an August challenge!

    It doesn't matter how fast you are, how fit you are, how far you can run... just pop your name down with your mileage target for August and then each subsequent person can copy and paste and add their own target. Pop in to update and let us know how you're getting on.

    Good luck everyone - let's smash this!

    I'm currently training for a half marathon on Monday 4th August and another on Sunday 14th September so I'll start us off...

    Complete Rock 'n' Roll Dublin Half Marathon - 4th August 2014 (DONE - 2:35:40)


    Post-Marathon Summer Countdown
    (Commencing 17/04/15 with weekly Fri WI)

    1 3/4 lb to get back to target range (8st 10 - DONE 24/04/15)
    4 3/4 lb to get back to target (8st 7)
    7 3/4lb to get down to lower end of target (8st 4)
    11 3/4lb to get down to ideal weight for summer for a bit of wriggle room (8st)

    First August run 6.2 miles (10K). Also managed to get my OH out with me, he did 2K and then walked 3 before heading home but he's started and I'm so excited to help him get stronger and fitter till we're running together.
