2lb Challenge - 12lbs by October 3rd

So as one 2lb challenge ends another one begins and this time I am hoping to lose 12lbs by October 3rd as my birthday falls on October 2nd however I may be weighing in on my birthday rather than the 3rd as I am supposed to be going out for a meal the day of my birthday which is also the night before weigh in so I may just weigh in a day earlier but regardless 12lbs in 6 weeks is my goal.

I am feeling very positive about this challenge as I proved in my previous 2lb challenge (http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world-teams-challenges/344071-2lb-challenge-14lbs-august-22nd.html) it can be done. I finished my last 2lb challenge this morning and my goal was 14lbs and I actually lost 21.5lbs so come on!! LoL

Ok this challenge starts today and the 1st weigh in is next Friday so fingers crossed and keep checking back.

As suspected...a gain! +3.5lbs

I knew it was coming and I'd prepared myself for it. The comfort I can take with this gain is it wasn't self sabotage, I didn't cheat, I didn't go off plan deliberately it was just circumstantial due to my mother in law being admitted to hospital on Friday last week and passing away on bank holiday Monday. Not happy it's a huge gain but I did say yesterday as I'd had two big losses I was expecting it. So my goal for next week is either 3.5lbs to get back to where I was last week or ideally 4.5lbs to get to club 10.

Welcome to the challenge sorry for the delayed response busy weekend.
 
Ok someone upstairs is looking out for me because I lost 5lbs!! That means last weeks gain is gone and I got my Club 10. Ok this weeks anguish is gone now so I can move on and focus...so I now need 3.5lbs next week 3lbs to get me to my 2.5st award and 3.5lbs to get me into the new stone bracket. I would sooooo love to be a teen next week...please whoever is looking out for me above take away 3.5lbs next week. PLEASE!!!

Sorry again for very delayed response...had my hubby off work and this is the first time I've had to sit down and respond to every one on here. I wouldn't worry about your 0.5lb losses. If you're sticking to plan it will go eventually remember I am just under 7 stone heavier than you so I am going to lose it a bit faster but that's because I have a lot more to lose. 2lbs may be unrealistic for someone of your weight...I don't know...I can't remember the last time I was your weight lol but I know when I was on WW a few years ago I got down to 15.3 and I was only losing 0.5lbs and 1lbs...but I have a friend on here who is trying to lose about the same as you and she's having the same problems...don't be discouraged by the small losses...remember any loss is a good loss...good luck for todays weigh in. I will report mine tomorrow morning...come on 3.5lbs lol.
 
Well I sensed it wasn't going to be a big loss and I was right...1lb loss this week.

Kind of in same situation as Evolet I know I've been on plan 100% so disappointed it wasn't more but I will hold my hands up that while my hubby was home I didn't drink as much as usual so apparently thats had an impact. I knew something didn't feel right just can't verbalise the feeling but wasn't expecting a big loss this week.

Well next week I want 2.5lbs to get my 2.5st award and get into next stone bracket. I can't see any reason why I won't be back to my regular routine...its my mother in laws funeral on Wednesday but if I eat before the funeral I should be able to avoid the buffet.

You're still doing really well. I couldnt get to weigh in last Thursday as had to take my eldest to A&E after she hurt her neck.

Am really trying to be on track for this Thursdays weigh in

I just scraped by...by 0.5lb...but I did it...I lost 3lbs this week giving me my 2.5st award and I'm into the new stone bracket first time in 3 years my weight has started with a 1...cannot tell you how happy I am to be a teen.

I don't have anything to aim for next week as my next half stone is 6lbs off and next stone is 13lbs off and next mini goal is 20lbs off...so I am just guna aim for my usual 2lbs next week...so happy...good day today. WOOHOO!!

The only concern I really have is I'm not keeping up with my 2lb challenge I should have lost 8lb by now and have only lost 5.5lbs and I think it will be doubtful that I lose 6.5lbs in 2 weeks...but I can take pleasure in the fact I was 7.5lbs over on my last 2lb challenge.

would love 2.5-3lbs next week of course but when it happens it happens...

I may be weighing in a day early as it's my birthday next Thursday and we're going out for a meal and I don't fancy getting weighed the morning after the night before if you get me so this may be a shorter week for me...but I'm currently unwell so the meal may not even happen...watch this space...

Brief diary of my life...a week ago my husband walked out on me with no explanation...due to this I haven't been sleeping, eating etc...I am weighing in a day early this week as today is my birthday...Yes the ******* walked out with no explanation a week before my 30th birthday...so I intend on getting very very very drunk today...so like I said early weigh in...lost 5.5lbs...got my 3st award...

And you've done fantastic on your weight loss so far - keep it up and show the plonker what hes missing!!!
