    Anyone 20st plus

    I guys I am 20st 5 I am joining tues and can't wait I was wondering if anyone started as over 20 st and how u are doing on sw how much lost etc also anyone wanting to buddy up and post diaries success recipes etc

    I'm Laura - I joined last Wednesday and I weigh 19st 8!! So not far from 20!!!

    I've just done my first shop and stacked up on fruit n veg!! My fist weigh in is Wednesday so I'll let u know how I get on!!

    I would be over moon to be 13 stone but anything more a bonus I really can't wait to start tues I'll be posting a diary so we can do together guys xx

    Yeah congrats on the 2st Hurley!! Oh and 2poundaweek - I'm aiming for 13st exactly same as u with the same mentality - that anything extra is a mega bonus!

    Just wondered what everyone's inspirations were for starting SW?! Xxx

    Well before I went on hols I was on Ww couldn't do with the points I did do a weight Loss course and learnt that we need our protein so that's why I think sw will be best xx

    Hi, just noticed this thread and thought i'd offer some encouragement! I started SW at home at the end of September, i was 20st 7lb and lasp week i was 15st 5lb at monday weigh in! If i can dn it so can you. I have 3st to go, its more of a plod but however long it takes i will get there and so can you!

    I started at 21st 9 1/2, on the 7th March this year, I am now 16st 8. Slimming Wordl *really* works when your starting weight is as big as ours.

    Thanks for your inspiration guys as well done well I nearly gave up abd was going to do Ww only because I didn't really like class leader no support tbh so I joining another class tonight sw of course xx

    well done Gaz. its stories lke this that inspire me to keep going. I started 6 weeks ago and am down 22lb from 24st6lb. looking forward to getting down more.

    are u competitive by any chance? im just looking at your awards? i thrive on getting as many as i can and work as hard as i can to get them. i was just wondering are you the same?

    Yeah, disturbingly so... Fortunately the competition in my group isnt high, and by that i mean, there isnt a few other really big people with loads to lose and lots of motivation.

    I watched an episode of super nanny and realised I was behaving a way a small child does to the incentive and award scheme that they had introduced. Here is a few photos which show a mild obsession:

    ha ha yeah I know exactly what u mean, my missus does be laughing at me. im only there 6 weeks and have 8awards stickers. she reckons theyre gonna ban me. ah well, any motivation is good.
