    Hi Dawn, your C25K disguise did make me laugh. I wear one of my son's baseball caps, old 3/4 length jogger bottoms, a Freddie mercury tribute t-shirt as its the longest thing I can find to cover the rump and my trainers too were dug out from about 5 years ago and you can see my docks through them. What a state!

    It's really good that you're doing it though, keep at it. It is strangely addictive. :-)

    It is addictive isn't it?? I am so happy that I have found my route on a farm track way where very few people ever go, so no-one ever sees me. That also does make it a little bit creepy tho... My running gear is a long sleeved t shirt (My Ipod sits better on top of cloth rather than skin) and then my "Maverick" Top Gun t shirt with a pair of old trackie bottoms that I've had forever and my Reebok trainers that my bf tells me if I cleaned them up and wore them in public, I would qualify as a chav!! I sometimes wear a cap too, but the wind has been mental recently so I've been leaving it behind!

    By the time I get home I'm all red too, sooo unfit, but at least that way you know it's working!!! xx

    Hahahahaha! Oh I'm so glad its not just me that goes out looking like something from a young offenders unit lol!!!
    I'm gona have to find a better route...everytime I saw someone I wanted to stop cos I felt such a fake! Me...pretending to be a runner...its hilarious really
    But...it really was a buzz! I mean it was only walk 5 minutes/run a minute/walk a couple of minutes/ run etc, but I felt like I was doing some real exercise!

    My only disappointment was that I simply couldn't do the whole program This might have been aggravated by a few things...
    My cunning disguise was SOOO damn hot I was dripping within a minute
    I ran up a hill...not the best thing to do right at the start
    I am not a runner...any thing faster than a gentle ramble resembles an epileptic spider
    I do not possess a sports bra to incarcerate my DD's...need I say more?
    I have a fitness level of precisely ZERO
    Oh yes...and I'm FAT!!!

    So today has been v busy...moving DS2 and GF into their new flat. It all went well & I think they will be fine. Theyre only 5 mins away by car so its not too bad, but I miss him already even tho he spent most of his time at GFs mums. Then I gave his old room a clean,stripped and made the bed, sorted out the airing cupboard, hoovered and washed the carpets & cleaned the kids bathroom.

    Now I'm in bed wiv the lap top, DH is fast asleep bless him. He;s been working on the garden most of the day.

    Busy day tomorrow again so might not get on here We're going on one of the 45 coaches organised to take us to MK to watch our beloved Saints rugby team in the Heineken Cup quarter finals! COME ON YOU SAINT!!!

    Then we have to shoot off to a choir concert that DH is singing in...dont think we will make it for the start but it cant be helped.

    Haha I had the opposite thing the other day. I was doing my run and there was someone coming towards me. I felt like I had to carry on running til I was past them, even tho the woman in my ear had already told me to stop!!!

    This post cums to u from sunny MK!! Laying in the sun, by the stadium, waiting to wander in and take our seats for saints v ulster.
    I do hav a confession to make...just had pork/apple sauce/ stuffing roll wiv crackling! Well it IS a special occasion lol! Oh dear...I no bestie Nicki is so gona kick my butt for that lol!

    Bestie i don't believe it! Not that i can reeeeally say anything with my latest antics. But i guess pork is free on red, apple is a fruit and a roll is a hex (its a stretch but it works )

    Well it didnt get any better I'm afraid! We were on a bit of a high cos WE WON! WE WON! WE WON! & then we went to a choir concert hubby was singing in, & they brought round wine & canapes! So not wishing to appear rude...I ate loads!

    Phew! Dont think this is gona be a long post cos I'm flipping pooped!

    Busy day at work, 2 staff members didn't turn up for their 7am shift so we were a full stretcher vehicle short

    Macmillan nurse wants to try Dad on some other drugs to see if they will control the pain he's in. He doesn't get a minutes respite from it...its just constant all the time

    I did the 2nd C25K run tonite (still only wk 1) and didnt do too bad. I was more organised, got some motivating music ready (ok so "Bat out of Hell" may have been a tad ambitious ), put a thinner top on, and then my son who's also doing SW asked if he could come, bless him. It was lovely to have him with me! The only problem we had was that he's 6'1", really long legs, and he walks faster than I can run! It was hilarious! But I was amazed at how light he is on his feet, considering he's just under 17 st, he ran rings round me! Was great fun, and we only missed 1 minutes running as it was up a REALLY steep hill and neither of us cud manage it! I've got rather sore ankles now...think its something to do with the way I run. I haven't got a clue how to do it, and its all a bit ungainly and uncontrolled!

    Well done Dawn, sounds like you are making inroads to the running!
    Might be worth checking the trainers you run in. I had to get some from the Sweat shop as I was getting terrible blisters in my arches from any trainers I wore, and my feet (apparently) lean to the sides, so I got special proper running trainers and it has made a hugemungious difference! xx

    Well done bestie, I would love to start jogging but think i would probably have an asthma attack or my knees would explode, don't think i'd manage it with 21 stone of lard stuck to me!

    Well done on getting run 2 under your belt. I know what you mean about not running properly, I am one of those whose legs kick out at a rather diagonal angle behind me... I dunno how to run so my legs go straight behind me lol. Not that i care, I can't see them!

    Good that your son went with you too, I don't want to start running with anyone yet, still feel too slow etc. My flatmate did speak about coming with me one time, but then any time I go out she calls me a mad b'stard... hmm!!
