Red face how do you lose 2 thirds of your self?

thats the question i am setting out to answer. i am too ashamed of my weight to join a class so am going it alone, hopefully with the support of you guys.
I have done this once before and lost 6 st, lost my focus and am now back at 29 stone
    on monday i had some sort of wakeup not sure why or how, but walked out of work and into my gp's. We talked options from medication to surgery.{althougth bizarrly i don't meet nhs criteria for my area }
I have decided to write a diary to motivate myself and in the hope that writing it down will help me remain focused.
so hello all wish me luck i reallllllllly want to do this. No i KNOW i can do this.

    Hiya Mandy.

I'm in a similar place too, lost around 8st two years ago, went off plan, stresful things happened and now almost back where I started. I think having a diary on here will really help. Since you're not feeling confident enough to join a group minimins is a great alternative for wi results and food diary feedback, and for letting off steam when you need to!

    Keep us posted x

Yes, you CAN do it! Believe in yourself..getting the support here will defo help you, I know it helps me along

Your meals are really good-you'll have the weight off in no time I try not to snack myself (I'm weight watchers) but I understand that Slimming Word gives you syns each day, right?

Another thing-are you drinking water? 2 litres a day Get an Evian/Volvic 1 litre bottle and fill it up twice a day and bam, you've hit the 2litre mark. And walking? You don't have to do tons of exercise at the start, even a 10-20 minute walk every day will help and then build it up when you can. Break your goal up into smaller ones-focus on getting each half stone off. I've still 4 stone to lose and that's what I'm doing, it's keeping me calm because otherwise I would get too impatient lol!

I'd advise drink plenty of water with the alpens, they might bung you up so to speak lol

Once you've had a chance to restocy'cupboards try not to purely rely on them for snacks. Fruit and yoghurt works well as an alternative for me personally

well another day completed, not a bad one either, was a bit worried cos i had to go out for tea. not been out for several days as confidence at rock bottom but parents had decided i needed to
only panicked once in sainsburys, panic attacks only started this week and they are really the thing that has bought me to the end of the road.

Managed to pick up some bits and bobs but didn't finish the shopping. Forgot half of what i wanted when i panicked. This really isn't like me and i will be trying again on Sat this time with hubby.
Had a lovely tea with parents and daughter who has just returned from germany. I had complete control as mum put everything out on table so people could help themselves.
Sometimes i get overwelmed with guilt as i know they worry about my weight, and then what do i do oh yes EAT !!!
Anyway now i have convinced you all i am a loon i will leave this writing things down is strangely comforting and means i am not eating lol probably boring for you lot but good for me
    todays food diary:

B muller yog, banana and blueberries

L savoury rice with cucumber tomatoes and spring onions chopped in to it

T grilled steak all fat cut off ,baked potatoe salad I teaspoon of flora (2 syns) 3 dairylea light triangles (hex a)

S approx 57g low fat hummous (hex b) carrot sticks
    mango and melon

plus 2 lts of water I never drink this much !! think i might drown lol

Awws *hugs* that must be really horrible having a panic attack in the supermarket. I hope you manage better next time.

Your menu looks brilliant, do you feel like you've got your head firmly in sw mode?

Don't be afraid to use a few more syns - especially while you still have a lot to use

Am off on holiday for a week later today, hoping to stick to plan 100% for most of it with maybe one or two flex days for a meal out here and there. Will check on your WI result/s when I get back, best of luck x

Hiya, glad to hear you are going along well with your food choices. Sorry to hear about the panic attacks.

I had my first ever panic attack just after the birth of my first child, and with every birth after that. I get a lot more now, what with the blinking menopause so it could well be a hormonal imbalance going on. They are such hideous things to have to deal with and at the time you feel like you are going to die and thus avoid the 'trigger event', which is the worst thing to do. Please don't let it make you avoid the shops or wherever.

You are doing brilliantly. Good luck and have a lovely weekend.

Firstly, you are not a loon ...or maybe you are and in that case so am I so you're in good company lol, cos you sound exactly like me...I couldn't go outside my front door alone, was ok if someone came with me, but if I had to even take rubbish to the bins I would end up in a heap bawling my eyes out and shaking from head to toe.
I can only imagine how you must have felt in the supermarket, I avoid them as much as possible even now and do 90% of my shopping online, they are so big and scary and while I have gotten over my panic attacks, I remember them and don't like putting myself in places I feel might bring one on, but you should continue to do what you are doing, I also started to get them just after the birth of my 2nd child.
I was 31 and started my menopause at 37, I had an oophorectomy (same as a hysterectomy but they take absolutely everything and not just the womb), when i was 40, so I have now at 53 completed my menopause, and don't seem to have them any-more. I think you could be right about it being a hormone thing Chelsea Lou, whatever happens hun please try not to let it rule you (easier said than done I know), talking is good as it helps and you have done the best thing writing it down.
Good luck hun, your food diary looks great and you are doing a fantastic job xx
