Hi Folks

Have been on Sw for 6 weeks having gradual losses - but been struggling to focus the last week and lost the belief that I can do this:(

Also wondered as I don't like a lot of veg and superfree whether this is the right plan for me - but just seen some great diaries from others who seen to have some of the same probs and they are losing weight.

So, having lost half a pound this week, have decided to refocus, and doing this diary is part of it.

Any comments welcome.

Reminded myself of why I want to lose weight

I want to be able to walk into a shop and have more choice of clothes
I want to look in mirror and like what I see
I want to be healthier and feel healthier
I lost my darling dad suddenly to a heart attack and my mum has 5 stents in. I want to minimise the risks of this happening to me.

Goals
Get to under 13 stone
12 stone 7lbs under
Move from being clinically obese to overweight!
11 stone 7lbs under
Get at my target weight for Dec 8th singing extravaganza

Get into my fat jeans comfortably and those skirts that are a bit tight!
Fit back into a size 16
Be a size 12/14 bottom - 14/16 top (I'm not named boobalicious for nothing:D)
 
If you don't like veg try red and green day's, then the 3rd superfree isn't compulsory. I used to detest all veg, taken my years to desensitise myself into at least tolerating it, but i never used to eat veg when i was doing red/green.
 
Thanks, yes I stick to mainly red or green, coz i tend to like my HE's too.

I've realised as well that i like salad and fruit a lot more than i thought its just that some meals i cook don't go well with a salad!! can do mushrooms, peppers, onions and butternut squash - can't do anything green. I have tried tee hee
 
I struggle with the greenery too. I have salad with anything to be honest, even if it doesn't exactly go with salad haha
 
Oh thank goodness it's not just me! Just re read your previous post and giggling at the though of desensitising to vegetables - i have tried to eat broccoli and courgettes several times now and ended up hiding it on my plate/putting it in bin when my veggie OH has looked the other way!

Anyway to days been a red day

Bfast - none, not good I know
Lunch - 2 bacon, egg, LM red onion suasage, mushrooms, toms, WW petite pain , ketchup
snack - small bowl of fruit, half ML on top
tea - ww petite pain, ham, LC traingles, rocket, toms, tbsp red onion chutney

tea in milk and small cup of hot milk at end of day with WW choc eclair

syns 6.5

don't normally have 2 lots of bread, meant to have chikcen and pots for tea but had forgotten to defrost to chicken - doh
 
OMg I am so premenstrual today - steer well clear!!!

so am off out in a bit so here is the eating/plan today

another red one
Bfast - small bowl of strawb, grapes, blueberries and other half of yday muller lights
lunch - 1 piece of ham, tin of tuna, cottage cheese chived and onion, 1 ww petit pain, 1 tbsp low fat salad cream
snack- banana
tea - homemade fish cakes made from 1 potato mashed, flaked salmon, squeeze of lime, 2 tbsp of thai sweet chilli sauce, ton of coriander, mixed together to form patties and done in frylight
later - 1 orange aero bar

syns total 9

would normally eat salad with all above but feeling a bit off it - the cottage cheese went mostly in the bin as well!
 
didn't end up going out yday as the PMT got too bad - so add in 1 syns worth of cocoa powder to make hot choc with too ydays

Todays been a green one

bfast - alpen light, choc
lunch - 2 LM italian sausages, spaghetti hoops, 2 eggs, ketch
tea - WW pp, 1 chicken quorn burger, beans, ketch, SW chips with half tbsp of oil so like real chips!!!!!!
snack - orange aero biscuit

syns 9.5

didn't think much to the LM sausages = too salty for me - back to the red onion ones then i think, least they are free though expensive!
 
back to red - didnt have bfast as such as woke up late and fel a bit queasy

brunch - 2 bacon, 2 Sainsburys sausages , egg, baked beans, toms, 1 tbsp ketch
snack - handful of grapes
tea - tesco value wrap, filled with chicken, pepers, mushrooms bnut squash, tbsp of mixed dip (salsa mostly, sour cream, guace), LF cheddar, SW wedges with smidge of oil
snack - flump

MM probably about 13 syns to be on the safe side i think, coz of the sour cream
 
My friend once hid some leek into home baked bread - I still sniffed it out!! So I am 36 going on 4 as well!!! It really is a bit odd because rest of my family love their veggies. Love carrot cake but thats a bit of a problem on SW......

thinking soup might be an option too - trying to find a spicy butternut squash one thats nice on here, still searching
 
yday munchies - err went for s flexi day!

bfast - half WW PP, slice of bacon
lunch - salad, small chicken breast, tuna, other half of petite pain, s cream 1 syn
snack - banana, small glass of pimms and lemonade- 6 syns?

tea - wait for it
1 onion bhaji - 8 syns
1 poppadom - plus mango chut and yogh - 1o syns?
chicken amortic - 15 syns as fairly creamy but not as much as a korma
2 spoonfuls of rice - 4 syns at a guess
third of a peshwari naan - 10 syns?


55 syns - oops

still i bloody enjoyed it and as have been good all week and will be today and tomorrow, hope to have lost a bit of weight!
 
red day

bfast - banana
lunch - tuna, ham,1 slice ww bread, dairylea light spred, salad, 1 tbsp salad cream
snack - 1 ww bread, rest of he cheese spread, smidge of red onion chutney
tea - sw wedges, chicken with parma ham and 20g DL cheese, salad
snack - choc mint muller mixed with bit of HE milk

syns - 4!

now thats a pull back from yday:eek:

lunch - banana, muller light, wholemeal swich with ham, smidge of chutney, DL traingle
dinner - SW burger, SW wedges, salad with feta, 1 and a half tbsp ketch - at my bros who cooked it, he is really enjoying SW too and his weigh in day is tomorow!
snack - three crisps!

7 syns at a guess!! But I'm too tired to care. Was so hot in office today guzzled about 2 litres of water!
so total syns for week is 7, 4, 55, 13, 9, 9. 5, 6.5 = 104 syns so just within range so fingers crossed for tomorrow

am hoping for a pound at least, ideally 2, please please and then I will be in a new stone bracket
 
1.5 off - woo hoo!!

DEcided to revise my goal target weight to 11 stone for beginning of December given how I'm losing and have a few social occasions in June which I reckon I will be lucky to STS with at the least

bfast - none
lunch - 2 WW bread (HE), beans, boiled egg, LM sausage, 20 g LF cheddar (HE)1 tbsp salad cream
tea - SW wedges made with half tbsp oil (HE), bked beans, bbq quorn fillet, toms and salad, ketch
snack - rasp, third of a meringue and squirt of cream

syns 4.5

too hot to feel that hungry and also am banking syns a bit as need to go outfilt shopping later this week - so may have naughty lunch or drink!

lunch - chicken portion, half slice of ham, boiled egg, salad, soft cheese (half of HE), salad, WW PP, smidge of chutney
tea -chicken stuffed with other HE cheese, wrapped in 2 slice parma ham, SW wedges, chutney, roasted toms and pepper
snack - frozen muller, jaffa cake

mm benefit of it being hot hot hot is it makes me not particularly bothered about food - too busy drinking water!

though im sure to be fair if someone had wafted a crunchie ice cream i's have eaten it
 
Ok

so i was on plan the next day and had about 8 syns

and then yday i don't know what happened - i weighed in and had lost a pound which wasnlt bad considering - but then went on a major choc, white bread, coronation chicken, pizza stuffing day :eek:

i think to be honest im feeling very flat about a few things including how slow my weight loss is - and i'm cross with myslef for being on this journey for the third time ( got down to 10 9 in 2009 and was 9 stoneish for my early 20's) .

time to try and refocus i think somehow
