    Snacks: alpen light bar (3 syns), pear, banana

    Intended dinner: cheese on toast & whisky - at which point the syns count tends to go out of the window......

    It's our Friday treat for surviving another week at work....

    When I'm really good I use the right amount of wholemeal bread and lo-fat cheese as hex a & b, and measure the whisky as syns. More often however, I just use 2 slices of normal size wholemeal and don't bother measuring the rest, and just hope for he best!!! Depends how hard the week has been!!!

    Anyway, weekends are something of a temptation zone for me, so I thought I should get saturday & sunday on here. I wasn't good - too much alcohol mainly, and a haggis-fest also.....

    Lunch: Carrot & coriander soup, wholemeal bread (HEX B), banana

    Dinner: Beef stew & vegetables, white wine (?? syns)

    Snacks: alpen light (3 syns) / crudites - carrot, toms, pepper, celery with port & stilton in (???syns) / 2 crackers (??? syns)

    Red day

    Breakfast: 40g porridge (HEX B), soya milk (HEX A)

    Lunch: Pumpkin soup, wholemeal bread (HEX B)

    Dinner: salmon & rocket / haggis (??????????? syns), mashed potato, turnip, swede, gravy (2 syns) / syn-free cranachan / white wine (?? syns) / whisky (?? syns)

    Snack: alpen light (3 syns)



    So.. weekend not a total write off, & plenty of veg, but pretty high on syns, though really not sure how many. The wine - I didnt even get through an entire bottle altogether - theres a large glass left in the bottle still, so I'm thinking maybe 15 syns each day for wine? Haggis is unmeasurable - its 3 syns for 28g, but I had loads...

    Back on track today.

    Hi, the pillows are high fibre - look like shredded wheat, but with chocolate in? I only have the French box, I guess I could put it through the translator! I'm not sure its a bona fide HEX B, but I looked at the values on the packet & it wasn't too far from other HEX B's so I tweaked it a bit.....

    You are probably right about the porridge - my books are from about 10 years ago, & I know the weights have changed around a bit. Although, its a drop in the ocean as regards the weekend!
