The doc has given me diazepam and naproxen which are anti inflammatorys - im also taking paracetamol ive had to cut out the codeine as they were bunging me up which in turn was giving me tummy pains - I cant win lol

Afternoon!! I have just read your entire diary and now i'm subscribing (well, I say that I don't know how to actually subscribe - but lets just pretend!)
Well done for getting back on track!! looks like your last couple of days have been great!
I don't really know if this will be helpful, but everytime I feel super tempted to eat junk like a choccy bar or anything else, before I dive in, i close my eyes and count to ten (usually quite slowly - 1 elephant, 2 elephant) and in them 10 seconds I usually realise that I dont need that chocolate bar, or that burger and the craving goes away. Sometimes this doesnt work, but thats ok, we all fall off plan sometimes, but it works 70% of the time, and thats 70% less crap im shoving down my pothole and adding to my waistline!
I've also mentioned this on someone elses diary, i took a photo of me at my largest in a swimming cossy and keep it as my phone screen saver, sometimes ill look at it and it motivates me to keep going because i really dont wanna look like that for the rest of my life!

I have done - this kind of. I got my other half to take pics of me front side and back and I keep them in my phone – not screen saver in case someone sees!!BUT I did print them off and then I laminated them at work and I now use them as dinner mats (well I did, when they got put away I put all my weight back on so they are getting looked out again!!!). But this helped when sitting down at dinner cos when you were full you seen the pics and just stopped eatin! When dinner is over I sit them on my wee table that I use when sitting watchin TV, makes me want to pick less!!! Not everyones cup of tea but it works

I'm sneeky and have one of these wierd thingy bobbys (not that thats much help!) that covers your screen and so other people cant see whats on it apart from you, or when your looking directly at it! haha, plus i have a passcode, and my photo only comes up after i've put the passcode in! Modern technology huh!!
p.s lol @ miss p p - reminds me of school when people used to call me peewee or peepee (oh the horrors!)

See I'm different, I don't want to foster hatred or disgust in my body, or pass that idea on to my son or nieces. There are so many people out there raring to put others down and I shouldn't go do their job for them! I can see how much better I look and celebrate that, but I don't want to associate eating as bad, and not to eat what i want else I will look like a picture I've decided is disgusting as you can get down a bit of a negative route, either leading to binging and self flagolation, or seeing foods as good and bad, rather than things to enjoy freely and things to enjoy in more measured quantities - but enjoy all the same.
That's probably just me though! I have had friends who have gone down a negative path so I'm probably slightly more aware of the danger. And because I have clinical depression etc I have become more aware of negative thought patterns.
