So today started with yet another ridiculously early start, with little bear one getting up at 4.50am!!! Yes, that's right, 4.50am!!!! I brought him into my bed and he wriggled for about an hour before I gave in and got him up. We read some books for a bit (well, I kinda just made up the words as my eyes were half shut when reading them) and now he's sat on the ipad while i've got the laptop on!!! He's 2 years old ffs, and he knows how to work my ipad better than I do!!!!

Anyway, it gives me a chance to ramble on here for a bit about the day ahead. I have started the day off with a banana and a mug of green tea. I can't drink the pure green tea as it's yuk but the twinnings one with lotus flower and orange is lovely so that's what i'm having this morning. In an hour or so i'll have my yogurt and summer berries that I stocked up with in asda yesterday. I actually blame my little one for the fact that I eat so much through the day. I reckon if you totted up all the extra hours i'm up with him in the morning then over the course of a week it must add up to a whole extra day so that's why i'm always hungry! Well, that's my theory anyway.

The morning will see me dropping my eldest at nursery then me and little bear will head off to aldi's to stock up on fresh fruit and veg and any other bits n bobs that catch my eye.

I must say I'm finding writing my diary very helpful, even if it's just me talking nonsence most of the time, it's helping keep me focused and making me think about what I'm going to eat for the rest of the day. So, I think today I'll make my usual pot of soup as the last batch is finished now...will probably go for lentil again as I really enjoyed the last lot. I'm also going to make the mushy pea curry so that's the food planned for today. Obviously i'll no doubt have a few other things thrown in there. I'll update my food intake later tonight.

I'm working tomorrow and its 12 hour shifts I do so I'll be cooking up some stuff to take into work with me later today. You should see the size of my lunch bag that I have to lug into work. It's mahoooooooooooosive!!!

Oh grim. My boy woke up just before I went to bed and screamed until 2:30am he ended up in with me because he wasn't going to shut up. Bloody brat.

I bet work is a nice break from home. Haha. If you stat needing a suitcase for a lunchbox you can start to worry

Ouch...the middle of the night screamfest is something that I too am very familiar with. It's hellish. My little bear is 2 and big bear is 4. The youngest was born in August so he's actually 27 months, going on 27 years with the way he acts sometimes!!!

No suitcase quite yet to transport my lunch but it's not far off it at times

As you can see by my super duper fancy signature, I've spent some time working on it this morning. Wow, it's when you see it all written down like that that I can see how far i've come in just 11 weeks. I have given myself a big pat on the back this morning. I have definitely noticed a difference in my shape and I feel so much better moving around and doing stuff. I can only imagine how much better i'll feel when I lose another stone, then another and another and....well, you get the picture Bring it on I say!!!!

I was looking at your Sig and was super jealous. It took me 4 weeks to lose what you lost in week one! It is amazing. I'm like you, I get a bit carried away with the next stone and the next and the next. My losses slowed right down, thankfully after a big gain in the last week of October I managed to swap things round and had a great November. Still trying not to get beyond myself. In 7 weigh ins it'll be my one year slimming world anniversary and that's something special to me. For a habit to still be formed after a year it means it should be a life-long habit.

You should take a picture of yourself today so you can keep it and keep comparing yourself as you lose weight. When I took a picture of myself the other week and compared it to my before photo I was stunned. At the beginning of starting slimming world I set myself the target of wearing a size 14 on Xmas day, as opposed to a 22. I never told anyone this before. Well earlier this week I picked my Xmas day outfit and it is a 14. I thought it was just a pipe dream but it can be done. And when my son looks through family photos and he sees the 3 different me's from 2011, 2012 and 2013 I hope he will ask who the 2011 lady is. If you think about that this Christmas for your boys it'll make turning down the mince pies so much easier (i hope!)

Hey, you've done fabulously. I may have lost a few stones fairly quickly but look at you!! You've proved that you can lose weight, and most importantly keep losing it for almost a whole year. That's pretty darned amazing in my eyes!! So, give yourself a big pat on the back from me That's fantastic about the size 14. I'd give anything to be a 14 again. What a fabulous feeling that will be for you to slip into that size 14 outfit. Make sure you get plenty of photos taken and i'm sure your boy will be asking in no time who the 2011 lady is!! Great stuff.

I actually did take a photo of me in my work uniform at the start of my journey, then I took one when I had lost a stone and I got a colleague to take another the other day when I'd got my two stone award. It's amazing the difference in those photos already. I can't bear to look at the first one for very long but i'm glad I took it as when i'm finding things tough and struggling then I'll pull it out and have a look to remind myself that I never want to be back there.

Well, i'm off to make some more meals to keep me going for the next few days. Lunch today was eggs, sw chips and beans and boy was it good. Going to make cheesy pasta with the cracked black pepper low low cheese spread for dinner. I can't wait!!!

That's great you got those photos done. It gets easier to look at the before photo when you look like a different person.

Love egg chips and beans. I can't get the cracked pepper one but with the regular one it is yummy, I load it up with loads of veg still.

Well I've had a day in the kitchen today, cooking up a storm. I made minestrone soup, mushroom and lentil loaf and mushy pea curry. Now sitting watching I'm a celeb then off to bed as I'm up for work at the crack of dawn.

Food was all on plan today and I'm glad to say I didn't eat as much as I did yesterday (oink oink!!)

Breakfast: fat free yogurt with mixed berries, a banana and two benefit bars (HEB)

Lunch: eggs, beans as SW chips

Dinner: penne pasta with 1/2 tub of low low cheese (HEA) and grated cheddar cheese (HEA)

Snacks: 3 ryvita cracker bread (HEB), 30g choc Philly (4.5syns), topped with sliced banana, and a packet of whisps (4.5syns)

    Total syns used; 9

TootyFrooty - shoot me if im wrong here hun if you had 1/2 tub of low low as your HEA should you not then syn the grated cheddar? otherwise your having more than your allowance for your HEA

Food Optimisers can enjoy 60g as a Healthy Extra ‘a’ on all choices and a Healthy Extra ‘b’ on Green (that’s just under half a tub!) or 25g for 2½ Syns.

Food Optimisers can enjoy 60g as a Healthy Extra 'a' on all choices and a Healthy Extra 'b' on Green (that's just under half a tub!) or 25g for 2½ Syns.
Looks like a green day to me - in which case cheese plus cheese is just fine The joy of green days!
