missemma's 10 stone journey

missemma

Take Thatter
So new diary, new start, hello 2013.

I've been doing Slimming World (from home) since 2010 where I went from 21.7st to 12.3st however for the last 3 months I've struggled and put lots of weight back on, however I'm back & stronger than ever & will get back on it from now. No more excuses and no more 'oh I'll start tomorrow'. I want to remember what that nice feeling of getting into those skinny jeans feels like.

I weighed myself this morning and I'm back to 15st 10. Disappointed in myself but not going to wallow just gonna get back on it.

I've never followed extra easy before but I'm going to give it a try, before I did mainly green days but I'm going to mix it up a bit so I don't get bored. Have a huge online shop coming tonight full of goodness - is it sad I'm looking forwards to planning meals when it comes? Haha.

Today I'm going to have a green day as its all I had in the cupboards so...

B: HEb All Bran, HEa semi skimmed milk, banana & mixed spice. Dash of milk for a cuppa.

L: home made veggie soup. Fresh fruit.

T: vegetable stirfry & noodles.

Wish me luck :)

All food went as planned today.

Had a fat free m&s Rhubarb yoghurt for pudding which I take is free. Hopefully.

My food shopping came tonight, got so much meat so I'm excited to plan all my meals for the week. I'm working 8am-8pm tomorrow so eating late will be tricky. Have made a stir-fry for dinner tonight so made double so I can eat that tomorrow for lunch at work.

I love frozen fruit, so much better than fruit that goes moudly in a day.

Food tomorrow:

B: HEb porridge with HEa milk with fruit & cinnamon.

L: Stirfry & noodles. Orange.

T: undecided yet as ill be getting home late I might just grab a tin of tuna and salad but depends on how I feel & how late I end up getting in.

Long days are so tricky!

All food went to plan kinda.

Had my porridge & fruit and Stirfry for lunch but no orange I had a fat free yoghurt instead.

No tea but had 2 disaronno & diet cokes after work, unsure of the syns but think spirits are 2.5 for pub measures so will go with 5 syns. If anyone knows of exact syns I'd be grateful.

One long day down, have worked all 5 days this week am shattered.

Worked out my walk to work is 1.3miles so chuffed with that as I have walked every day so far. Woo.

Third day down, long stressful day at work but the food I took with me was so yummy.

B; porridge HEb, milk HEa and frozen fruit & cinnamon on top. Yum.

L; half a pack Stirfry veg & cooked dry noodles. Mullerlight yoghurt.

T; other half of Stirfry, few noodles & small portion of extra lean pork mince.

If anyone can tell me if that's about right for extra easy I'd be grateful.

Going to a 5* hotel tomorrow with my girlies. Got my breakfast sorted prior to leaving and for the journey (it's in Cardiff) I've got a small amount of couscous, 2 quorn sausages cut up in 1/2 tin chopped tomatoes and 2 large mushrooms. Hopefully that will do me for the journey :)

Yesterday was a fairly good day food wise (kinda).
Had my HEb of All Bran and HEa of milk with frozen fruit for breakfast.

Lunch was couscous with 2 quorn sausages (2 syns) and onions, mushrooms, tomatoes & mango slices.

Dinner was raisakuree (sp) from Wagamamas. If anyone knows the syn allowance please let me know :)

Drinks wise I went over my syns waaaaay to much but I did stick to spirits and diet mixers! I enjoyed myself anyhow so will be good the rest of the week to compensate.

Today I've had;

Fresh fruit, HEa milk, HEb all bran, 1 sausage, mushrooms, scrambled eggs & tomato so far. We stayed in a gorgeous hotel so the breakfast was a must but I did my best to make it as SW friendly as possible.

Oh and I did get up at 8am and do 30 minutes on the treadmill and 5 minutes on the arm bike which is my new favourite gym equipment. Goodbye bingo wings.

Right today's dinner will be roast chicken breast, roast potatoes, veggies, Yorkshire pud & gravy. 4 syns for the gravy & yorkies.

I had 2 boiled eggs & some fruit earlier and a tall skinny coffee so 2.5 syns.

I'm going to do a green day tomorrow which will be;

B: HEb porridge, HEa milk & fruit.

L: syn free mugshot, 60g lowlow (HEa) & 2 slices wm bread (HEb) with some cherry toms.

T: jacket spud, beans & salad.

Looking forwards to my dinner tomorrow.
Come on weight loss xx

I lost all my weight before doing mainly green days, infact I rarely did red days at all.

I think the reason I stopped doing it before was because 1. I am stupid and 2. I got bored with it, so this time I plan to change it up a lot.

As I do it from home I find EE quite hard to do for lunches, I need to buy some salad tomorrow and then I can have Ham salad or tuna salad at work.

Are you going to do green again or.do ee? X

Today I did EE again, quite getting the hang of it although find it a bit strange doing the only 1 HE a & b but getting there.

The past two days at work were SO stressful but I have Thursday off so planning at the moment to go to the gym and go for a swim after, think that sounds good. I'd rather go to the gym during the day as January is always so busy with all the new people who join so that way can avoid waiting ages for the equipment.

Todays food was so yummy, it's nice doing EE as it's nice to actually have chicken and carbs together haha, sounds random but I have missed it.

B: HEb porridge & HEa semi skimmed milk with some frozen fruits & cinnamon on the top.

L: Lean ham & salad with a muller light toffee yoghurt.

T: Lemon chicken (so basically chicken cooked in chicken bovril, ginger, garlic & lemon juice) with small amount of boiled rice & green beans. I also stirred some mushrooms, spinach and yellow pepper through my chicken so lots of veggies/salad in there, well over the 1/3 superfree.

I haven't had any syns today though, I just realised and I'm quite full, I might have a hot chocolate in a little while maybe made with a little bit of milk to try and get some syns in there. I have some options hot chocolate so could count that as the 2.5 syns. I'll see how I feel shortly.

I had my options hot choc so 2 syns for today.

Here is a picture of my scrummy dinner :)

Green day today, went well & I had a lovely dinner. The thing I enjoy most about slimming world is the fact the choice you can have is amazing.

Breakfast was my usual porridge (heB), semi skimmed milk (heA) and fruits & cinnamon.

Lunch was 2 slices of HM bread (heB), 2 boiled eggs mashed into 1tsp extra light mayo (0.5syn), an orange and a toffee muller light yoghurt.

Tea was a small jacket potato, quorn mince with 1/2 tin chopped toms, green beans, mushrooms and onions. I had 3 babybel light (hea) as well and one of them I put into the potato and it melted and wash LUSH.

Again I haven't had many syns tonight, I was totally going to stop on the way home and get some sugar free marshmellows as I read you can have 4 for 1syn but I totally forgot to pick some up, instead I ended up with some vegetables to make a nice stew with :D I might go to the shops tomorrow and buy some as I'm craving a hot chocolate with marshmellows right now, but alas I have none.

Tomorrow is my day off and I'm really looking forwards to it :D I can't decide whether or not to go to the gym or do some well needed housework, someone decide for me as I don't have the energy to do both haha.

I totally forgot to post my weight loss on my week (well I started Wednesday so just Wednesday to Saturday weight loss) and I had lost 5lbs, woo.

Extra Easy day today. Woke up a bit late which was nice, I needed a lie in quite badly, been feeling a bit coldy and yuk, still feeling it but not as bad.
I got up and debated about going to the gym for about an hour then decided to stop being lame and go and now feel good that I went. Did 35 minutes on the cross trainer and burnt a nice 250 calories, I also did 5 minutes on this new arm bike they have, goodbye bingo wings, haha.

Food wise I'm going to have...

B: Mullerlight yoghurt and fruit with a milky coffee made from my brand new coffee maker so 250mls light soya milk (1/2HEa).

L: 3 pieces extra lean bacon, 2 slices HM bread (HEb), salad & 1tbsp of mayo (0.5 syns) & 1/2tbsp of ketchup (0.5syn). Mmmm bacon sarnie.

T: Got some extra lean beef strips out the freezer so going to make a nice beef casserole for tea with carrots, suede, potatoes, courgettes and onions, mixed in chicken bovril and tinned tomatoes and whatever herbs I can find in the cupboard. Well looking forwards to dindins :D

Tuna salad homemade with lettuce, toms, cucumber, pepper and spinach.

I smacked on 2 slices lean ham whilst cooking my cake & then dinner was leftover stew that I made last night. Going to get into bed with a hot choc as its freeeeeezing.

Am gonna go to Wagas on Sunday for the boys birthday so trying to chose the lowest syn thing, not sure what to have!
