Day 2!

Weigh in day:Tuesday
Weight day 1: 14st 13lbs
Aim: 11stone 7lbs

I thought I'd start a weekly diary on here for my own motivation and hopefully so I can look back and see the change - in my weight and in me too. Everyone on here is really inspiring and one day hopefully I'll be one of those people too!! I've got to the point of enough is enough and I'm ready to go. Am going to log my couch to 5k (C25K) challenge on here too as well as my body magic challenge from the sw site and my new zumba wii game. Along with everyone on here that should be enough motivation to keep me going (as well as visualising myself being able to go into any shop and by something nice and not having to change 20 times before going out to find the least chubby outfit). Oh to wear a bikini on the beach (or to be honest even a speedo swimsuit in the gym!)

So, I AM determined to be foxy 42 by 2014!!! Who wants to join me?! I want to find the slim me again - no way I'm moving towards middle age looking more and more frumpy - out with the loose tops and dresses and in with the short(ish) skirts/jeans and tight(er) tops! I am Essex born and bred after all!

Day 4 and still going strong. Loving this site and using it often through my phone. Struggled today with C25K but sticking with it. I WILL DO IT!!! not hungry, not deprived and really into it. love this feeling and have to keep it as long as possible!
 
Day 5. went to nature reserve and now studying. had HUGE brunch - 3 syns for veggie sausages and burgers. dinner made - 'christine's' curry yum. not tempted by naughtiness at all but feeling sleeeeeepy. must do some zumba later to get those calories running away! go go go

hello - been talking to myself so far, glad you popped into my diary too! not going to group this time. i've been lots of times before but the last couple have been disastrous. the last consultant was just not nice or encouraging. one example is that the group had been cancelled and it was just a weighin. I didn't know, got weighed and sat down on a chair to wait for group to start, NOONE said anything, just left me sitting there like a right @!** for 15 minutes. i mean, friendly group?!?! needless to say i didn't go back. the one before i did the weighing in but hardly got any thanks for it so stopped. she was stroppy too! my first consultant who i lost all the weight with before was hideous (now chucked out). when one lady got to goal she turned to her and said 'about f.....ing time'. ???!! what is wrong with these people? anyway, for obvious reasons thought i'd do it at home - i have joined the sw site as it's really the only way to keep up with changes on HEXs and syns etc. things change a lot, especially the veggie stuff. free stuff before is now syns so have to look everything up just in case til i can remember it!. that's why i'm on here a lot at the moment - really loving the encouragement and motivation everyone gives - it's great

you weighing at class or at home? i'm battling not to get on the scales but managed so far. really affects what i do if i get on so know i've got...to.....reeesist!! have a great night mx

No I'm not going to any groups. I'm just cal counting and weighing at home.
The reason I asked about group is coz my sister has just opened her own group and it's all about making money and not about the people at all! Quite shocking really! She asked me to be weigher because I'm so big, people will feel better about themselves if they see me. NICE Huh?!

You'll do fine with support on here. I've lost 3 stone at home alone but with support from people on here and mfp xx

I've had horrible consultants before as well. Really puts you off doesn't it?
Toxicsgirl, is your sister a SW Consultant now? Hopefully she can bring a bit more empathy into it!

Thanks little miss peacock. Lets hope toxicgrls sis brings a bit if humanity to the Sw groups ... Not sure about that comment about you as weigher toxicgrl- I'd be well peeved with that!! Just had lovely curry quorn salad. Yummy. Off for walk now - later ladies x

another good day. finding it very easy to follow this time. slept til really late so had another 'brunch' - scrambled eggs, cauldron sausages (2 syns), beans. just had banana and muller lemon greekstyle yog (1/2 syn) so far. for dins i'm going to have spaghettie bolognese: asda meat free mince with tinned chopped toms, chopped onion, chopped peppers, tinned sliced mushrooms and passata. all chucked in with garlic, oregano and basil. will add 90g mozzarella as had no 'b' choices at all today so got to get that sorted! pineapple and melon and grapes for pud and maybe later some quark with chocolate turkish delight options mixed in (3 syns). done my last day of week 1 C25K just now. getting easier but definitely repeating that week til i feel really comfy. i'm just not fit enough to do more yet and think it's better to build it up slowly. I don't care if it takes me all year to run 5k - as long as i get there in the end!

can't wait til monday night when my study will be handed in and from tuesday i can spend time cooking more interesting dinners (i'm a useless cook), doing more exercise (including going to gym which costs a fortune and i never use -handing in 3 months notice this week) and relaxing with mediation/crafting/reading/films that i'm just not getting a good chance to do at the moment. NO MORE STUDIES after this for at least a year unless it has no essays and no exams! one more day 'til weigh in. excited/nervous and haven't weighed myself once! fingers crossed!!

Hooooooray!!!!!! Handed my 2 essays in! 5000 words in total researched and written in 7 days. Not great but who cares about the growth of the brain in early man? All I know about is the growth of the belly/hips/arse in 2012 Essex girl - the causes: sweets, crisps and red wine. The solution: Sw!! 100% for 7days.
2 weetabix with banana, 0% total and 2 taps honey (2syns)
Fruit salad (homemade)
5 scan bran with 4 lc blue cheeses, apple & cucumber
2 Greek style mullerlights 1 syn
Meat free chilli with veg and rice
Oh and half pack waitrose veg sushi - 1.5 syns

Yummy!

Are you another one weighing in at home? I was planning on going to meetings eventually but I'm doing so great just weighing in at home that I'm not gonna bother with group just yet- if I start to struggle I might change my mind.


Will have to look out for the turkish delight options didn't know there was one :)
 
Yes weighing at home as have not enjoyed groups I've joined recently. Joined Sw online for 6 months instead for all the up to date info and I love to use the logging tools - diary, body magic challenge etcetc. Keeps me obsessed!

My hubby loves the asda meat free meatballs 3 syns whole pack and really yummy - hes a real carnivore.. The Turkish delight options was from tesco but is limited edition so be quick!
 
Well week 1 weigh in and ....1.5lbs off. I'm glad of a loss but find that very disappointing for a first week loss. Stuck to it 100%, exercised, kept syns to between 5 &6 etc, drank lots of water. i used to get 3/4/5lb losses week 1. I was planning for a 2 lb average and after week 1 that's blown & now I'm afraid the losses will get smaller and smaller (only just possible!!!).

Still, it is a loss & hopefully next week will be better. I feel bloated and huge - had dinner at9 last night as had to nip out in evening - sure that doesn't help. Cone on Sw work for me!!

A loss is a loss so run with it :)

I have learned that you can't really control how much you can lose, you can only to your best and your body will do the rest.
Many factors come into play, water retention, hormones etc... Just keep going. In 3 months time 1.5lbs a week is 18 lbs!! Well over a stone! It'll be worth it xxx

Yes you're right, thanks for your encouragement. I need to lower my expectations but try just as hard. It's really difficult when you see people with big losses but I need to see that everyone is different and we all lose in different ways. By 42nd bthday at 1 lb pw I would be 11 stone 7 - my goal and somewhere I haven't been since I was 21!!!
 
A good day dietwise but I'm getting more like a beachball every day. I'm soooooo bloated. Drinking lots, eating my bs but still feel like I've swallowed an anvil!! Heyho i guess it's transition from eating choc/cheese/cakes/bread to following a different eating plan and sure soon I will be willo the wisp! Been back to gym for first time in ages and walked before work so the effort is there for sure ! Hope everyone's doing ok x
