Hey,
Well I have recently started on the SW way of life and today is my second day. I am finding it surprisingly enjoyable as there is so much choice on the EE plan. I have followed a million and one diets but never really had the staying power. My biggest loss was about 2 stone with WW to reach 13st after my son was born nearly 9 years ago :-/ Since then my weight has crept up and up. I did once join SW a few years back but the guidance was awful and it was the whole R or G day, which I just couldn't get my head around. This time around with the EE plan its been easy to understand and the starting guidance was fantastic.
So, a bit about me. I am 28 with two amazing children aged 8 and 6. I run my own business, have two dogs and two rats lol. I was a HUGE party animal for a few years, which meant I drank my way through masses of calories and ate plenty of crap along the way. I think this has added to my weight but not been the only cause. I am terrible for rebelling, I am a natural born rebel and its taken me until recently to realise this. I am now trying not to rebel against the greater good anymore!
Soooo I weighed in Monday at an awful 21st. Ouch! I think I have teetered around 19st - 21st for a few years now. I guess my problem is that even though I hate being so big, I have been lucky not to have had much stick for my size. The big girl with the pretty face apparently. But I want to be more than a pretty face now! I want to be the mum that has a kick around with her kids, goes running, buys clothes in normal shops, enjoys healthy food and just generally lives life the right way.
And that brings me to the here and now. Well, its been great these past two days! I have had fun searching syns (sad or what) and learning that there are so many free foods! Batchelors pasta, super noodles and rice are some of my favorite finds so far. I am trying to save some of my syns for the weekends so that I can enjoy a night on the drink and have a takeaway if I want to, or a nice meal out etc.
I would love to hear from you guys too. It would be great to hear your tips, stories and favorite finds! Also, if you need any support I am always here to listen to you and offer support. We are in this together, lets make it a group effort
Good luck everyone!
