Keeping on track as a target member!

I've been doing Slimming World for exactly 3 years, and it's become automatic now; but there are a few things creeping in, and I don't want to ruin all my hard work. I'm a consultant as well, so I want to be an inspiration for my members.
I mainly stick to extra easy, with the odd green day thrown in. Today, green day
Breakfast, Scotts so easy oats sachet, 100ml skimmed milk and topped up with water, strawberries and blueberries, cup of tea, banana
mid am; orange, green tea with lemon
lunch; homemade leek and asparagus soup - own recipe -1/2 onion, chopped, 2 garlic cloves whole, 2 bunches asparagus, 3 leeks chopped, 2 veg stock pots, 1000ml boiling water - simmer for 30-40 mins until soft, and then waz it up! Enough for a big bowl, and Tues and Weds lunch sorted.
Afternoon, apple, lemon greek muller 0.5 synscup of tea
dinner cheesy mushroom pasta from all in one cookbook, syns 3 or 4
nightshift, satsumas, fruit salad=honeydew melon, cantaloupe melon, pineapple, rhubarb muller, cup of tea, grapes
custard cream 3 syns total around 6/7 .5 syns didn't need other b choice not too bad today!

Hi littlemissslim, I'll be watching this thread with interest. I got to target 12 months ago after losing 6st and then put 3st straight back on! One of the lessons I need to learn this time round is how to maintain, so I will be prepared when I get there and not go mad and come off the rails!

Hi Spanx,I never stopped going to group even after I got to target. I've seen so many people, reach target, disappear, and come back and have it all to lose again. So i stayed to group cos it's free!

Finished my night shift - starving even though I've eaten all night!
Grilled bacon fat removed x3m, scambled egg, tomatoes & mushrooms in frylight yum!
off to bed

Yes, think that was part of the problem, I never went to group last time round - and when I got to target I needed some support and motivation to keep it up. Circumstances have changed this time round, so I've gone back to group, hoping it will help!

Well, I've had leek and asparagus soup for lunch, chickpea dahl pasta bake for dinner, diet coke, pomegranate and an orange. Also had a vanilla coffee, and a caramel coffee. No syns so far!

Off to weigh in this morning, and then I run my own group on a Thursday night. Today is my biggest downfall; trying to eat properly; breakkie is ok, I take that to group with me and eat after weigh in, lunch is ok, but dinner is rushed before I go to group, and then I'm really hungry when I get home from group between 9.30 and 10.00pm. My aim today is to have something to eat before I go, that will be ok to have a second go at when I come in.If I can have a good start to my week, I won't go bonkers at the weekend!
So plan is melon, muller and pineapple chunks, bacon eggs, toast baked beans toms and mushrooms for lunch and adsa veg chilli with bacherlors rice for dinner. No time for snacking, but that should keep me full!

Had a really good night Thursday, 3 new members,19 in group, small but growing - the weightlosses are good, retention is good, and I'm able to give them a lot of support. We had a lot of fun, did tft; they are a very competitive bunch, so it was hilarious - lot of cheating going on. 2 platinum body magic awards and 1 gold award. My paylady nearly at 3 1/2 stone loss, and Friday I did my shopping, accounts and one of my members asked what the total weighloss for the group was; texted all my members to see if they could commit to Food Optimising 100% and challenged them to lose 50lb as a group. Nearly all said they would do their best or try very hard. now I am really pushing my promotion this week; I want to go to the next qdm with 25 members at least!

Weigh in - maintained - happy with that as before I started this thread, I was not following the plan properly, and I am nearly at the top of my target. Would like to be bang on target this week - so 2 lb to lose. Just need to stay away from special k crisps - very hard not to scoff the whole box in one go!

Weigh in 1lb off. Have been eating lots of stews, soups and warming comfort food to fill up in this cold weather; happy with that. Made some soup for my group tonight. Carrot, lentil & coriander for the veggies, and chicken and sweetcorn. Think I have some more new members coming tonight - 6 to get for my 25 members; it's been hard work, I would just love the 20 or 30 or more new members some consultants have been getting. But on the plus side, my members feel well supported, and they are a really funny, caring bunch. I will get there - this week would be great- but defo for next week!

So frustrating! One new member. I've had my Aframe out by the newsagents all week, and my banner on the car. I had four potential that I met this week, but they didn't come. QDM next Sunday, I don't think I'll make my 25 next week, a school event that means I'm holding group at a different venue for one week, isn't a good thing; but I'm going all guns blazing in Feb!
Stayed on track with food, had jacket potato with chunky steak from M&S (free) really tasty, scooped out potato, put steak in, potato on top, with cheese allowance, and other half of potato on top, sort of meat & potato pie!, Very tasty, and quick to make, will defo have that again, had with baked beans, and a large orange. Shopping later today, will keep syns low this week, just a pound above target - and another pound or 2 will be ok, so I can have a bit of leeway! Must have brekkie before I go shopping this week!

Lovely brekkie this morning! Scrambled eggs, with smoked salmon and tomatoes and mushrooms. Feel really full up! Lets see if I can take a break from Slimming World for a day - it's taken over everything!

Nope, not a chance! Been into town, and bumped into 7 members, past and present.Nicked a couple of my daughters chips, but went for jacket potato and beans in a cafe, the salad had a dressing on it, so I left that. Had a cup of tea.
Roast pork, roast pots, and veg for dinner tonight.
One of the best things about being at target, is being able to buy clothes and shoes that I would never have had the confidence to try before. And then being able to go, "I'll have one of them, one of them, and one of them!"

What am I proud of today?
Picking up 3 Cabury's creme eggs, knowing full well I was heading home to scoff the lot.
Stopped myself. Put them back, and headed home to eat melon and pineapple.
Just a pound will get me back bang on target.
Even though I'm talking to myself, that's ok, 'cos this is really helping!

Well done!!! That's fab, all these little victories add up, as you will know being at target, and as I am hoping to find out! X

Good day, better than expected. 1/2 pound off, just 1/2 to get back on target. And despite having to move my group, I was blown away to get 5 new members.
I also made sure that my usual venue had my boards and A frame displayed, and also a poster explaining where group was being held and it said group would be back next week, so
hopefully I will get some new members next week from that. Had a few absent tonight, so I didn't make the 25 again, but it's so close.. I keep saying this week I'll do it!
Now all I must do is lay off the hifi bars. Have got boxes of the damn things in stock, and have got through 4 peanut heavens tonight.
