Yesterday i fancied bubble and squeak, but i am not keen on smash, even though its free.
So i peeled and washed potatoes and sliced them really thin, sprayed a heavy bottom pan with frylight, and layered potato slices in turn with cabbage and leeks. spraying lightly with frylight between layers, and sprinkling with some pepper. then i added a little bit of chicken oxo stock, put a lid on and let it simmer away gently till the all was cooked, served it with a fried egg, and it was yum.
in the evening my sweet tooth got hold of me, so i whisked up some egg white and mixed a custard and banana mueller light with the yolk, adding the stiff white and mixing it gently. put this into the freezer and kept beating it with a fork every 20 min or so. enjoyed my ice cream lots.
just need to stay on track. for breakfast today i will be having the left over bubble with some beans, so that should fill me up nicely.

Today went well, have had pasta and sauce for lunch with a bit of salad, munched on some chopped apples which i dipped into toffee muller light, and am just sorting tea now. am slowly getting used to black coffee instead of my milky one, as i rather use the milk or cheese out of my healthy extras for snacks or towards my tea.
have some sugar free mints in my jeans pocket in case i get the munchies, i take one and tell myself if i still fancy ......after then i can think about it. by the time i am done sucking my mint i couldnt stomach any food anyway with the pepermint taste in my mouth

so for tea i made myself a curry with a recipe i found on here

i wanted syn free chips with it, but had to settle for fried potatoes instead as i had to use some boiled potatoes up
i boiled a cauliflower taken apart into rosettes in oxo chicken stock. then strained the cooked cauliflower, and kept the stock on the side, i then used my blender to make really fine goo out of the cauliflower, adding a little of the stock at a time till it reached the consistency i wanted. Then i added loads of curry powder and a little chilli powder for extra kick. I then fried some onions and turkey pieces in frylight and added to the curry mix. gave that a little simmer through for the flavours to come out some more, and served it with my fried potatoes and cherry tomatoes.
It was absolutely lush, no hint of cauliflower at all, nice and creamy. i didnt add all the stock as suggested in the original recipe i found, as cauliflower is rather watery on its own.
    will be making this again

today will be a green day, i prefer green days. as you can make so much with potatoes, pasta and rice
for breakfast i am gonna treat myself to some more fried potatoes (left overs) with scrambled egg and spring onions.
just what you need when you are snowed in, am glad i have my own hens laying eggs lol

I had the rest of the curry with some rice last night, all in all i stuck to it through the day, and feel much better for it. when i woke up i did not rethink the day before and the wrong foods i eat that made me miserable and the size i am. in fact i felt proud of myself for sticking it out so far, and am looking forward to challenging myself some more, even though it is just with food for now. my plan is to start walking more on monday, even if i start rather small and build on it.
green day again today, i find i can make so much with pasta, potatoes and rice that keeps the munchies away and leaves me feeling full.

had beans and poached eggs for lunch, and am stuffed now, keeping my healthy extras for tea time. sucking on a mint when i have a craving seems to do the trick for me, as after having the mint while thinking if i really want that choc, the mint taste in my mouth wouldnt go with anything anyway
on the right track for now

ahhhh had tea and am utterly stuffed
stuck to my green day, and enjoyed it
for tea i had chicken in a creamy onion sauce with pasta and gherkins
all i did i used my portion of chicken from my healthy extras
    and light cheese spread triangles
    onions roasted in the oven
    boiled pasta
    and cut up gherkins

i fried the chicken pieces in frylight and put to side once cooked, meanwhile i roasted some onion slices in the oven, took them out transferred them into a small sauce pan and took the blender to them, so the sauce would be thicker
i then added the cheese spread from my healthy extra and on low heat melted them into the onion "goo" i then added a table spoon of low fat fromage fraise to take the cheesy note of the sauce, crumbled a little oxo cube in added black pepper and put the chicken pieces into the sauce to heat through.
i served this on some cooked pasta and enjoyed with geherkins

so another bitter cold day today, plan is green again. love my green days
i found a recipe on here home made soft cheese, and it looked delicious, the original posters big batch of soft cheese had only 1.5 syns for the whole lot. since i didnt have low fat greek yoghurt in the house i tried it with low fat fromage fraise, and added parsley and garlic and some extra salt as i was trying to copy the flavour of boursin soft cheese which i love. smelled fantastic as i put it in the fridge after mixing all ingredients together, and am looking forward to trying some later
