    Iv known others that get bloated eating bread too but it's so yummy I love a good sandwich but try to only have bread 2or 3 times a week not everyday or I can't do up my jeans and feel like michellin man haha

    Glad you slept better! Its horrible not being able to sleep.

    I have done a whole chicken in my slow cook pot several times, it comes out really tender and just falls off the bone. you do not need to put much water in with it, I usually just put about 100ml but if you are going to do veg in with it put some more in or the veg go a bit dry on the top.

    I am doing EE with a couple of green days thrown in. I am not going to a class as I do not have the time, I have paid for online Gold support (That is why I started this thread for extra support and info and people to talk about SW with.), so I got the started pack in the post on Wednesday with an other copy of this months Mag, so now have two mags! LOL



    I weigh in on a Friday morning - lost 3lb this week. which I know is good but was slightly disappointed that it was not 4lb to get to the 13st mark!

    Don't know why you would be so bloated, I take charcoal tablets when I am bloated this disperses any excess wind that may be trapped. I get them from the health food shop. Sammies idea of bran flakes and prunes could work...........

    Tap was good fun, being doing it for about 3 years now. We have a right laugh!

    but happy bunny as hubby has just passed his driving assessment to drive lorries for a well know supermarket! more money in the bank and a happier hubby!

    Just put my whole chicken in SC, with little water on bottom - will do veg separate, how long do you think for whole chicken? on slow?
    I have cut bread out completely at moment, so bloating not bread, thought it might be white pasta?
    I had a bad night last night drank too much voddy and got munchies!! So hoping that blip doesn't show on my weigh in on Monday!

    Takeaway was Chinese! Fried rice, spare ribs, veg chow mein, butterfly prawns and prawn crackers, shared between 3 of us. Not so good choices!

    Glad chicken turned out good.

    Yes did syn the the spare ribs. Butterfly prawns were the worst at 2 syns each as they are deep fryed I guess, and I had 8 of them!

    Going to eat loads of superfree speed food this weeks for damage limitation. Stepped on the scales this morning and I have put 3lb back on! LOL however it does not count till Friday! Hehehe

    Busy start to the week! ate half my breakfast before leaving home! Grated apple, yogurt and half a grapefruit. Hifi bar and coffee when I arrived. Carrots, celery and 2 x satsumas for snack. lunch was left over from yesterday, spag hoops, and veg omelette, cheese topping (15g chedder) with mixed salad followed by a yogurt. Not time for snack this afternoon and not hungry yet really, but drank 3 cups of tea and a large glass of water.

    Home to make a SW curry with boiled rice.



    Only 1 syn so far for the yogurt this morning as it is the Onken Fat Free with apple and mango (5 syns for 450g) and I have 75g of it.

    Well done on you loss thats really good!

    Everyone enjoyed my curry, only thing is they thought it was more like a chilli than a curry and to be honest it was, just missing the red beans! So I think I have a new recipe for a good Chilli! (wasnt quite syn free as I used mince pork 1/2 syn per 100g for less that 8% fat)

    I have the SW Curry book the hard back one and the paper back one, I have tried several of the recipes in these, usually go for the ones with coconut milk in them as they are milder (don't go for too hot). When ever I put yogurt in cooking I always seem to manage to split it no matter how careful I am, so No not normally.

    I do not mind at all you writing on my thread, in fact I quite like our chats! and appreciate the support you give me.
