    Smile FIRST DAY CONFUSION

    Hello
    I am new to this and having just joined SW on line I could do with a bit of basic help. On Monday I downloaded all the info and started to fill in the paper food diary. I found that my usual bran flakes were NOT Healthy Extras so had to record 7syns (now using All bran) My elevenses went down as my HE (wholemeal toast) for the day but, mid afternoon I had 2 Ryvita, which are also HE so I guess these now go on as syns? Once I am organised I will plan better but could you tell me if I have done this right and am I allowed to record the food with the higher syn value as HE for future? (obviously only if it is on the HE list). Many thanks Sue

    yep thats right, You can use anything you have as HE as syns too if you want. Use your one HE (definitely HE the higher value and syn the lower) and then use your syns. So if you wanted toast and porridge, use one as HE and one as syns.
