Well here we go again!!!!


I started slimming world 4 years ago after seeing some horrific holiday / wedding photos. I was the bridesmaid with the flabby arms in a sleeveless dress and the double chin pictured stuffing my face. I took action and started at 12stone 4lbs. That was July - by November I was at target 11stone 2lb. I looked and felt fabulous, had started a new job / course and actually looked forward to wearing my bikini.


i went on yet another holiday (all inclusive yikes) and needless to say I gained approx 6lbs then went straight into Christmas and stopped attending group. BIG mistake. I didn't regain the motivation to go for a few months and over the next 2-3 years I gained and would return to group and lose 4-5 lbs then gain again and so on. I've rejoined about 5 times.


the here and now.... The photos are looking fat again, I'm back up to my original start weight and I'm feeling heavy.


Ive decided to re do slimming world with my colleagues. Due to finances I can no longer afford to rejoin but have my books from last year. 3 of my colleagues have joined and we have started cooking each others lunches on a rota.


In my first week I've lost 4lb I want to be at half a stone by next week as I've got a party to go to and want to look less bulky.


so here we go....
 
Ok putting my food diary in here too as think it will be easier to follow in one place.

yesterday I had to visit the mother in laws and her cooking isn't exactly Sw friendly so I had:
breakfast was 2 fried egg in fry light and 4 slices of bacon no fat
1 x Allen light bar on the way (heb choice)
half a packet of cous cous (lemon and mint) and a handful of grapes for lunch
2 chicken thighs and a roasted sweet potato for tea
2 finger kit kat (5.5 syns)
skimmed milk as hea

so 6 syns total

today
breakfast was scrambled egg, 2 asda reduced fat sausages (2 syns) and 3 slices of lean bacon with mushrooms
portion of Special K cracker crisps (5.5syns)
half a packet of cous cous with plum tomatoes and chicken pieces for lunch
muller Greek style lemon yoghurt (0.5 syns)
2 finger kit kat (5.5syns)
dinner was cod fillet, the remaining cous cous, plum tomatoes and 28g of chorizo (2.5syns)
Skimmed milk as hea in tea

15syns total
 
Well I'm still going

breakfast today was going to be 2x alpen light bars but I didn't actually eat them as I got so busy at work I forgot then it was lunch.

Lunch was half a slimming world quiche made with savoury curry rice, eggs, 150g low fat cottage cheese and added chicken yum my colleagues devoured the other half with beans I also nibbled on a handful of grapes.

tea tonight is chicken and probably my left over half packet of cous cous and probably melon or strawberries afterwards.

hea is skimmed milk as usual
and may have my heb alpen light bar from breakfast so far no syns yippee

feeling pretty good today feel like I've got momentum now and can keep going even my trousers feel a little bit slack (or am I just imagining it?)
 
I know no one is probably reading this but it helps me to write things down.

ive felt a bit hungrier today.

breakfast = 1x alpen light

lunch = pasta, quorn meatballs and passata sauce with mushrooms and a miller light yoghurt

i started eating some strawberries but they tasted a bit sour

tea = lean bacon, 2 fried eggs in fry light, beans, 150g McCain rustic chips (1.5 syns), Birdseye chicken chargrill (3 syns) and 2 reduced fat sausages (2 syns) yum yum

hea = skimmed milk

total syns 6.5 syns

im definitely noticing a difference today and my colleagues are keeping me motivated.
a few of us have decided to go out for a meal on Saturday then we are at a colleagues party afterwards. My plan is to drink diet coke and probably Bacardi and the meal will be Italian so will probably have a pasta and tomato dish or meat and veg.

had a really bad day at work today horrendous in fact and really proud that I resisted a buttered potato cake at the end if the day.

skipped breakfast again oops very naughty of me but just got so busy it would have been an alpen light bar or two.

lunch was a beef curry with spinach, potato, mushrooms and tomatoes with rice made by my lovely colleague, a Greek muller light yoghurt (0.5 syns) and a humongous pear

tea has just been lemon and mint cous cous (1 syn) with plum tomatoes, chicken breast pieces and I will have a two finger kit kat later (5.5 syns)

7 syns total
 
Really noticing a difference today my work trousers are slack and I love it.

breakfast was 2x alpen light bars

lunch was chilli made in the slow cooker for my colleagues. Extra lean mince beef (no quorn left), onions, mushrooms, peas, tin of chopped toms, tin of mixed beans and a tin of baked beans, chilli and paprika yum yum. Followed by my colleagues slimming world trifle we worked out 2 syns for whole thing between 4 of us so half a syn. This was tipped with mixed berries.

tea will be left over chilli on a jacket potato and a kit Kat after (5.5 syns)

total syns 6
 
Had a really terrible day at work today bonus was that it was my colleagues turn to do lunch.

Breakfast didn't happen although I planned two slices of WW whole meal toast.

lunch was a gigantic pear, with salmon mushroom asparagus (and peppers but I picked them out as don't like them) with risotto and a muller light to follow.

tea was some chicken breasts (that was it) as not much of an appetite. In agony with a sore back too. Having a it kat though now (5.5syns)
 
Was my weigh in today and I lost another 2lbs so that makes 5.8lbs I'm total which I'm so pleased about in just two weeks.
 
So after my weigh in yesterday I had a hectic weekend.

i had my heb for breakfast 2x slices WW toast

1 alpen light 3 syns was my lunch then I was out for a meal we went to an Italian and I love the pâté there so had that then had pasta in a tomato sauce with bacon and vegetables yum I didn't have a desert but did have 1 large glass of wine.
we was at a party straight after but having already eaten it meant we avoided the buffet. I then had 2 glasses of wine and 3 Bacardi and diet lemonade. Was rather drunk and hungover today so breakfast was 2 fried eggs in fry light, bacon and beans and 1 crumpet to soak up the booze. When that didn't work I had a cheeky slice of pizza for lunch.

tea tonight is carbonara made with spaghetti, chicken, mushrooms, Parmesan as my a and egg for the sauce.
 
I also fit into my dress and got compliments so I was happy
 
Well today has been ok all not really stopped to enjoy food.
breakfast was an alpen light bar and lunch was a Sw quiche made with pasta, mushroom, tomatoes and onions. Had 1 crumpet 4 syns
 
Just had tea which was pasta, meatballs, mushrooms and passata. My OH had fresh pasta which looked lush but I didn't give in I just had dried pasta. Then I had 2x 2 finger kit kats 11 syns so had my 15 in total today.
 
Ok so didn't post yesterday as had a rubbish day. I had my faithful Alpen light bar for breakfast then cous cous, tomatoes and chicken for lunch and a cheeky McDonald's blowout for tea oops and didn't count the syns.

today was better but only after I overslept by an hour yikes!!!
i had a banana and an alpen light for breakfast, grapes to snack on through day.
lunch was chicken and a few grapes and another alpen on way home.
For tea I've had lean bacon, fried egg in fry light, mushrooms, 3 x 1syn sausages and 150g rustic oven chips

4.5 syns used total and not decided what I'm having as desert.
 
Right today was ok but that's about it.

breakfast was an alpen light
lunch was cous cous, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and spring onion.
2nd alpen light in car on way home and tea was gammon egg and the left over cous cous salad and a kit Kat 5.5 syns

really think I need to eat a bit more as it doesn't seem much when I write it down. Think that's what I will do now aim to eat a bit more.
 
Hey hun :) just popping by to sub. Wish I was as light as you- lol! You are already lighter than my target :O
Anyway, good luck with next week. I do SW from home too (didn't get much from group) and love it (most of the time)!

Im struggling at the moment. I've just been diagnosed with a condition that makes me prone to dvt so I need to reduce my risks somehow. I've had such a terrible week at work and I've been comfort eating i think so I really need to get myself in gear. It's not helped that I haven't completed my food diary for a few days. Tonight for tea I'm having pork with mashed potato and green beans with gravy.

i also don't go to group now as cant really afford it and I've been so many times.
