Hello!

So, having been avidly reading everyone elses diaries yet slowly slipping off the wagon because I can't seem to hold myself accountable, I thought I would give one of these a go. I had a good day yesterday then spoilt it by eating 2 packs of quavers, 2 viscounts and a curly wurly! Ergh. I had a 2lb gain at weigh in last week and I can't seem to get my head back in the game.

I have 2 and a half stone to lose for me to be back at my wedding weight (got married last year and managed to slim down, felt lovely then stopped caring and ate for 6 months solid and put on nearly 3 stone :(), then I want to lose another stone on top of that. I know this diet works and is relatively painless if I stick to it so why can't I stick to it?!!

Some mini goals to concentrate on:

Lose the 2lbs I have gained
Lose another 7lbs to get my first stone
I want to fit back into my size 14 clothes of which I have so MANY!
I want to get fit enough to run 5k
I want to go back to doing Yoga once a week

I will be rambling frequently so please say hello and tell me where I am going wrong if you notice any glaring errors!

Food for today:

Extra Easy
Breakfast - Porridge and Milk - HEXB and HEX A.
Snack - Orange and a plum
Lunch - Beans on toast (5 syns for a warburton thin) with steamed mange tout and carrots then a bowl of strawberries and ff fromage frais.
Snack - Mini hob nobs (6 syns) and an orange
Dinner - Salmon and herby Cous Cous with roasted veg. Yogurt and tsp honey. (1.5 syns)

Total syns - 12.5

Hi, welcome back to SW :) Oh the viscounts, i used to buy them to have as a "low syn snack" in work...but could never stop myself from eating half the pack!
 
Hello! Yep I have a bag of low syn treats at home which is great...until you eat the entire contents. Had a rubbish bingey weekend then was ok yesterday until the viscounts episode. Feeling ok today. My problem is I get really bored at work and just want to eat everything in sight, then once I have started I can't stop!
 
I'm the same, but i'm not usually bored, i just seem to keep thinking about food, then raid my drawers, thankfully there ain't much in my drawers at the moment, just a bit of gum and a few werthers, so can't eat all my syns up before i get home!
 
Food for tomorrow will be:

porridge hex b and milk hex a
snack - melon and a plum
herby couscous with left over salmon
Snack - bag of hob nobs (6 syns)
Cowboy chilli and jacket potato with carrots

Feeling motivated again! Thank GAWD for that!

So food for today:

Porridge hex b and milk hex a and an apple
snack - Packet of quavers (4 syns) and a plum
herby couscous with left over salmon and quarter of a melon
Snack - bag of hob nobs (6 syns) and an orange
SW Burgers with pilaf rice, mange tout and carrots
Snacks - Quality Street - (2.5 Syns) and an apple

12.5 syns

Been scouring the web for some recipes as am going to do some batch cooking for next week at the weekend. So far it looks like there's a lentil salad and some curry on the cards.

I really need to get my ass into gear and start planning for the week again. Got outta the habit of going through the books and stuff and now can't get back into it.

Argh so much for organisation - managed to forget my ssalmon for my lunch and my low syn afternoon treat! Bugger. Will have to pop out to tesco before it gets too madly busy in there.

So food for the day:

Breakfast - Porridge HEX B and Milk HEX A

Snack - Blueberry and Oat Cookie (4.5 syns - why did I eat this, because it was there! Annoyed. Don't even like them that much!) an apple and an orange

Lunch - Salmon, herby cous cous, mange tout and carrots Greek Yog and Honey - (1.5 syn)

Snack - Melon, fun size maltesers (5 syns)

Dinner - Salmon and avocado (5 Syns) with roasted veg.

It's weigh in tonight - am hoping for a lb off as I gained 2 last week and have only been on track for 4 days this week. Am feeling good and back on track now so as long as I plan the weekend properly I will be ok. Onwards and inwards!

It's a miracle - 4.5 lbs off! I am having a maltesers bunny to celebrate! (8 syns) - I did walk the mile home from the tube though instead of getting the bus! X
 
Morning! Am very proud of myself for not stuffing my face last night after weigh in. I went slightly over syns but felt in control and satisfied. This is progress.

Thanks God it's Friday, this week has gone on for forever. Got a good friend's engagement party tomorrow night but luckily am not a big drinker anyway so will just be having a couple of vodka and slimlines.

Food for today:

Breakfast: HEXB Porridge HEX A Milk and a banana

Snack: a plum and some grapes

Lunch - Last of the herby cous cous and salmon with mange tout and carrots - serious foodgasm alert! Some melon for pudding.

Snack - An apple and a bag of treat size Maltesers (5 Syns)

Dinner - Left overs - SW burgers, roasted veg and SW chips

Really determined to have a good week - want to re start couch to 5k this weekend. Famous last words.....

Excellent progress :) Sometimes going over syns by the odd few in inevitable but can easily make them up if you want :)
 
So yesterday was a little off plan- didn't go too crazy though which makes me feel good.

Breakfast was a bagel with scrambled eggs and bacon (10 syns for bagel)
Lunch was 3 Finn crisps with some LF soft cheese and some grapes(hexa and hexb)
Dinner was pasta carbonara with chorizo and loads of veggies (5 syns)

I then had a couple of drinks out (5 syns) and then had some wotsits and maltesers when I got in (10 syns).

So yes I went over on syns but I didn't binge and just carry on stuffing my face well past enjoyment like i usually do and i don't feel guilty about the food, so my baby steps towards behaving like a sane person around eating are continuing!

Am going to do a C25K run now and then will get a slimming world friendly roast in the oven.

Food today:

2 nimble toast and jam - 2 syns

1 piece mackerel 3 Finn crisp and low fat soft cheese. Hex a and 4 syns.

Grapes, a Finn crisp and a splodge of hummus, packet of wotsits - 6 syns

Roast chicken, roast potato, carrots, green beans and spicy red cabbage. Need to work out gravy synnage.
 
Morning - probably best I admit to the raspberry crumble and custard incident yesterday straight away. Luckily it was totally delicious!

Late in to work today as had to go to the docs which turned into a 2 hour marathon. Boring.

Food today:

Porridge hex b and hexa milk
Pasta with veggies 3 syns for sauce
Melon
Snack : Sw hummus (1syn for tahini) with carrots and Mini maltesers 5 syns
Re-run of the roast dinner left over from yesterday 3 syns for gravy.

It was yummy and the custard was low fat at least.

Not too bad, at least i've 90% managed to stick to plan this week, barr the extra syns last tuesday and my hot dog on friday, better than i've been last few weeks, always been something knocking me off plan....least i managed to walk up a hill/mountain for extra body magic!

Exercise today - 12 mile round trip bike ride (back on my bike to commute to work despite the rain. Go me!)
