Hi everyone,

I seem to crop up on mini mins in all areas of dieting! I'm a serial dieter! (5:2, Cambridge, WW)
Last summer I lost 1.5stones on the Cambridge diet, it's a brilliant diet if you have the money and the motivation, at the time I had both, and now I can't seem to find either!
I came off Cambridge and followed their 1200 step myself and stated the gym and managed to move from 1.5 to a 2stone loss, taking me from 13,10lb to 12,1lb (around 2stone)
I did great and kept it off until christmas, now I'm 12,5 and after an injury to my neck and not being able to exercise haven't been able to shift my Xmas weight.
Now I'm 6months away from my wedding, with a. Dress I bought 5lbs and several inches ago!
So now after reading so many success stories ( a girl at works daughter is getti married same day as me, lost 4stone in last 2yrs!!) I need to get back in line!
So Monday I'm joining slimming world and fri I am opening my gym account again to go slow to see how well my neck goes.
Also, don't know where people stand with natural aids, but I'm starting the much talked about raspberry ketones tablets this weekend also.
I'm going to try and keep a diary and would love any advice from anyone doing SW currently!

Thanks for reading!!

B - Alpen Swiss low sugar cereal and semi skimmed milk
L- Prawns, light mayo, red sauce, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, banana, kiwi, low fat natural yogurt. (Homemade Marie Rose sauce)
Snack - 1small sun blest pancake Pinch of grated cheese
D - Slice of granary bread ham slice and cheese slice Onion bagel with slice of cheese and half a tin of plum tomatoes A bit of a binge when I got home from work as I was starving

Don't really know about SW yet so I'm just trying to cut down myself between now and Monday.

Oh and 1L of sparking water :)

Not feeling great today, was up from 2am with stomach cramps, and just felt really unwell, went to work anyway as had a parenting programme o deliver and didn't want to let my co facilitator down. We had lunch ordered from outside catering, and I never had chance to cancell the order as I was still wasn't feeling great so here's what I have eaten so far

Breakfast - tea
Lunch - granary bread, blue cheese, rocket, bacon, tomato, mango chutney, couldn't tell of there was and spread on it though,
Snack - mugshot sweet and sour with noodles.

Not sure about dinner as stomach is gurgling away!

Went to holland and Barret this pm to buy the raspberry ketone tablets, they were sold out; had 14 people on an order waiting list and only got 8 in stock! It's amazing what a media cover can do, so I'm going to buy them online.

Couldn't make it to the gym to activate membership, too ill so will have to wait till tomorrow :)

subscribing to your diary:) Have you decided if you will join SW yet? I'l be interested in seeing how the raspberry ketones work.....I hear they are really good. hope you feel a bit better soon x

Hiya!
Yep going at 5pm on Monday evening, kinda excited kinda scared :) bought big shop on asda and getting delivered at 7 on Monday, so at least starting right!
Are you doing slimming world too? If so how are you getting on?
I know me too about the raspberry ketones, I'm a little apprehensive but ill give anything a go :) it's only a tenna for a month.
Thank you, I'm feeling much better today, have been and had my roots done lol, always makes you feel better having your hair done :) hope you've have a great day

Yup I'm doing SW but I'm doing it online this time. I did SW before & got to just 4lb away from target last April then it all fell apart when my mum AND MIL both died within a couple of months of each other & I got pretty poorly with Lupus....I ended up putting on 4 stone!!!! not good at all

Finally pulled myself together & im on week 5 now...11lbs lighter & feeling better now I'm back on the SW wagon, its a FAB diet and you will never ever be hungry (or feel like you are on a diet to be honest) people will look at how much you are eating and wonder how you can be losing weight! lol xx

I looked at the online version, is there much difference do you fin doing on line than gong to a group? I just couldn't afford the lump sum all at once at the min.
Oh that must have been a sad and hard time for you both!
11lbs is brilliant well done! I bet you feel great!
I have been following people's diaries to get an idea of menus and foods etc and it does look like loads, I just need to get my head around the whole thing I think! Ill follow your diary too if you have one! It's great to have people who are doing the same at the same time :)

no I would definately recommend going to a group if you can....Its much better than doing it online, the support is much better. The only reason I'm doing it this way at the moment is I've just moved house (as if I needed any more stress on top of the rest of it lol) and I'm just not up for finding a new one at the moment, maybe when things settle a bit with my lupus symptoms I will be able to drive to my old group again.

There is a link to my diary at the bottom of where my weights are hun xx

I found your diary and I am now following :)

It sounds like you've had a tough time with your lupus lately, hopefully things are on the up!

Looking forward to starting now on Monday

hey nice to have you here :)

Yeah things have been a bit iffy just lately....but I think the new meds are starting to kick in now, I just need to remember to pace myself a bit so I don't get so tired until things settle again.

I'm glad you are looking forward to starting on monday - You won't regret it! its sooooo easy to fit in with 'real life' and even eating out/nights out can be done whilst still on plan if you choose carefully.

onwards & downwards from here now hun!! xx

Thanks, ill let you know how I get on on Monday :) x

Afternoon Hun :)

Looks fine what you have eaten for Brekkie, when you go to class tomorrow you will find out about your HEAs & HEBs that you can have (things like bread/milk/cereals/cheese etc) but I won't confuse you with it now - best wait til you see your consultant & get the proper 'TALK' and the books ;)

The main thing to remember though is that if you feel hungry at all..... EAT!! grab an some fruit, a yoghurt, some veggie sticks, just don't go hungry:) x

Thanks chick, I think it's gonna be hard to get the concept of you can eat as much as long as its the stuff you mentioned, coming from a counting calories and points etc background lol,
Thanks, hope your having a good day :) x

You can actually eat lots of other things freely too (just didnt want to confuse you today lol) but I know exactly what you mean about it really is hard to get your head around the concept at first ! Trust me though.... If you don't eat enough - you don't lose as much as you could (seems bizarre but its true) x

Thank you! If there's one thing I can do well it's eating a lot haha. X
