    Siggy Piggys Diary

    Hello everyone
I have read so many diaries on here the past day or so and they are all amazing stories. It's inspiring to me. I have a lot of weight to shift.
First started SW from home in March 2013, lost 12lbs at home but needed to go to group to keep myself going. I give up so easily. I have tried every diet known and have almost considered surgery. SW is my last and only hope.
5th April 2013 I walked into my first SW group and weighed 20st10lbs. FAIL! The weight has to go. I have really bad back problems and terrible sciatica and I have nobody else to blame but myself. I know when I finally reach my target all those back problems, excuses, name calling from strangers, humiliation, plus size clothes... They will all be gone forever! I have changed so much in my life already this year. I have always been a heavy drinker and struggled with depression/anxiety. I am now 5 months sober Whoop

lbs Lost since April 2013: Not counting the 12lb lost the week before SW.

    Week 1: -1.5
    Week 2: -2.5
    Week 3: -3
Week 4: -6 ...Slimmer of the Week
Week 5: -1 ...First stone award!
Week 6: -3 ...Slimmer of the week

Friday is weigh in day! But I weigh myself at home every day, sometimes 5 times a day at home. I have a problem with it. I need to just throw the scales out and be done with it but I love them so.

Working towards Silver award in Body Magic. My mum very kindly lent me her exercise bike and I am doing 2 x 15 minutes per day. I want to do more. Thank god for iTunes!

Following the EE with an odd green day thrown in here and there. I still can't quite get my head around Green days and how they work. I also think its very easy to go wrong on EE days but overall I love it. I wish I had done this years ago.
I am also addicted to SW Cheeky Chocolate and Orange Hi-fi bars... They are lush. I use them as a Healthy Extra B or as 6 Syns. I guess that is all for now!

    Peace

I have had a pretty bad time of it lately with life and today is the first day in ages that I have felt good about myself. I have just had an eyebrow wax, which was long overdue by at least 4 months. Walked out of there feeling pretty good I already put a jacket potato in the oven before I left and it's nearly done. I am starving!

Food Diary for today: Extra-Easy Plan

Breakfast: Bran Flakes/Semi Skimmed Milk- HEXA and B
Lunch: Jacket potato, Tuna with Light Mayo, Beetroot. Apple. - 0.5 syns
    Snack: Hi-fi Bar - 6 Syns
Dinner: Grilled Chicken and Rice. Vanilla Mullerlight with strawberries.

    Syns for day: 6.5

That may change because there are Freddo's in the fridge. I may have one tonight. Another 5 Syns

    Today I had:

B: 2x small brown toast with Marmite (HEXB)
L: Beetroot, Ham, Cheese Triangles (HEXA) Mullerlight. Apple
D: Chicken, Onion, Green Beans, Garlic, Carrot, Chicken Stock/Herbs Mmmmmm

Syns: Highlight Options 4, Fudge 5, Ryvita with lunch 1.5 Total 11 Syns

Weekly weigh in tomorrow morning and I am not looking forward to it. After a pants weekend by eating out with family and having a chicken kebab of all things, I am not looking forward to see if I have gained. I have been trying all week to try and make up for it by doing 30 minutes every day on exercise bike. My own scales say I have lost 2lb but they never match when I go to group.

I think I have made this thread in the wrong section. Should it have been in the food diaries? Noob Alert!

I am one happy bunny this morning. Just got back from SW group. Carrying all my free food I somehow managed to win Slimmer of the Week a second time this month with -3lb this week. Considering I pigged out on a kebab last weekend I didn't do too bad. Just goes to show that the Success Express menu's really work. The basket I got today was not as good as last time. Some people put in some dodgy off squidgy fruit. A box of herbal tea 3 packets of rice, yum and a 2 finger KitKat. Touch There was 28 people at group today and at least another 20 that didn't stay. Another lady at group today got her 4.5 stone award today and that has inspired me even more
Here's to another great week... Anyone reading this, good luck

    Peace

Woohoo, congrats on slimmer of the week, that must have felt great especially as you weren't expecting it!! Really admire your motivation, and the fact that you have stayed sober for so long, you must be so proud! I'm on my third day of slimming world, still getting to grips with it, stuck to plan 10percent so far, just need to get more experimental with food, but I am a rubbish cook!

Look forward to watching your journey :-)

The weekend! This is where I mess up. I'm going to try and stick to plan this weekend 100%
Every other weekend since I started has been a disaster and I have had to work double time through the week to make up for it, so I need balance this week.

The plan for the weekend is: Extra-Easy

B: Scrambled eggs on Toast (Hexb) and S.Skinned Milk (HexA)
    L: Hi-fi Bar (6 Syns) + Mullerlight and Strawberries.
D: Left overs from last night's Chicken Casserole. Topped up with fresh herbs, garlic, onion and tomatoes.
    S: Freddo (5 Syns)

    Sunday:

We never eat much before 11am on a Sunday.

B: Grilled Bacon, scrambled egg, Grilled tomatoes, Baked Beans, 1x small brown toast (2.5 Syns) With Milk (HexA)
    S: Mullerlight & Strawberries. Hi-fi Bar (HexB)
D: Chicken, Roast Tatties with Fry Light, Sprouts, Green Beans, Broccoli, Herbs, Stock.
Highlights Options hot chocolate (4 Syns)

So that's the plan and really want to stick to it. I have to because there is no other food in the house atm :P
