MancBird Reloaded - The Road to Target

MancBird

Always comes back to MMs!
Hi All,

Some of you may remember me from a while back, I have been following SW on and off for a while and lost a couple of stone for my wedding last year.

I stopped doing SW a month before my wedding and never really got going again, I tried online membership but couldn't quite master the self motivation - I think I need the threat of the public weigh in every week to keep me going.

Married life is now catching up with me and I have rejoined class to lose the weight I've gained back (around a stone) and hopefully continue my journey to target!

I will post everything I'm eating in a similar style to Ellebear whom I'm sure a lot of you know and love (and has been a great support over the years!).

Here's to chapter 2!

Hiya, I'm also a 'manc bird' so thought it proper to pop in and wish you good luck :)

I'm the same, keep coming back to SW on and off - hoping to stick with it permanently this time x

Hello! Thanks for for dropping by )

How are you finding it this time around? Well done on your losses so far xx

Thanks :) It's going well so far, really enjoying my veggies and cooking from scratch - I never bother when I'm off the wagon

I'm just bad at controlling the evening munchies, I know all the better options but sometimes the petulant child within wins the argument. Like last night, when I scoffed 27.5 syns worth of revels/mars planets...oops lol

Been there! I'm impressed that you counted them though, when I get like that I just seem to implode and forget everything I ate, just that it was bad.

Day 1 of restart going well so far, like you say its the evenings that are the most difficult! xx

I think it helps me get back on track the next day if I do keep a count and own up to it in my diary... It's when I start sneaking a bit here and a bit there that I lose the plot and fall off the wagon completely

Hope you have a good week, make sure you use some syns everyday so you don't feel deprived. I sometimes spend mine on extra cereal/bread for evenings as they're a bit more substantial than fruit alone :) I should have gone for the Weetabix instead last night lol

I was thinking of getting some Weetabix actually, I've not had it for years! I'm off to Tesco tonight to stock up on everything so will no doubt have a few syns this evening as had none all day so far.

Feeling good, fingers crossed it lasts xx

Aw hi Hannah, yes I remember you as well! Well done on your fab loss so far xx

Thank you!

It has been a struggle over the last 9 months! Got my 2 stone award in July but with holiday and my usual struggle with losing weight over the winter it has been a tough journey to keep my 2 stone off and move forward from there! It was yo-yo ing around a great deal!

Well done on the clean slate and the new diary - fresh start always good!
