I'm back here again!
Haven't been on Minis in months due to exams and stress which has meant that I have fallen off the wagon (big time!!!) But thats in the past. I can't change that now so gotta keep looking forward.

I would love to lose 28lbs by Sept 23rd which is the day I start my Uni course :cross: (as long as I pass my exams).
I'm going to do Paramedic Science in uni so I have to be pretty physically fit to be able to carry/lift people. I joined SW end of Nov and so far have lost nearly a stone and a half (although i've put a fair bit back on).
Any way, still over a stone lighter than when i started and i plan on losing a lot more. but I have learnt that it wont happen over night so each mini target is one step closer to my over all goal.

(As you can probably tell I ramble on a fair bit so I do apologize in advance lol)

Mini goal 1 - Lose 3.5lbs to get my 1 and a half stone (again)

Thanks for reading you lovely lot <3

Hi :)

Fab to find another student on here too! Going to subscribe to your diary :)

Good luck with it,

Helen xx

Us students seem to be few and far between on minis lol. Are you in uni? How are you finding things?

Yesterday was a bit of a disaster when it came to food :/ My sister said i should order a graze box and its only after i finished it off did i think to look at the syns and :O I so wish i hadn't. Also went out to harvester last night as its kinda a weekly tradition with my friends which also didnt go well. Usually i order baby potatoes with what ever i'm having because i'll only eat one or two and then leave the rest. But no, when the waiter came round and said chips with that? Silly me said yes! They were nice but i'm not even a huge chip fan. Oh well. Today is a new day and I'm hopefully oing swimming later because I actually can't remeber the last time I went. Think it was probably when I was on holiday last year.

Food wise today it'll be another "let's see what food there is in the house". I should be able to put something relativly healthy together.
I shall report back later as to how the swimming goes x

So as promised I went swimming and I am sooo glad I did. Exhausted now :) did 20 lengths in the 50m pool so not too bad going for my first time back in probably 4 years! It made me realise though just how unfit I really am because when I was younger I used to train with the county's swimming team. I used to have to do a lot more than 20 lengths!!!
I also did lifesaving for a time which was horrible but I used to LOVE it. Thats probably what got me started on this path to becoming a paramedic.
After the lifesaving lssons there was a group of us that would always go to the vending machines and get chocolate bars and crisps. Tonight I was determined I would slip back into old habits so instead forced my mum to drive past tesco so I could get fruit instead. Had banana (which is a real treat cos my sister has a phobia of them ((seriously)) so we're not allowed them in the house) and 2 apples and grapes.

Feeling really good. Going to try and get to the gym before WI on Monday to see if i can get off some of my post exam weight gain.

Going to go and chill now so night all xxx

We are a very small minority haha! But we will represent us well :)

I am yeah - just finished the second year of my law degree at Leeds Metropolitan :) Already done slimming world in my second year of college, half way through my first year of uni and now I'm doing it again. Started this time just as I started my exams, so probably wasn't the best time (revision makes me so stressed I just want to eat all the time) but I managed to stick to it really well all through the exam period and now, nearly 2 months on, I am still going relatively okay :)

How are you finding it?

Helen xx

Yes we will. Our own little students (slimming) union lol.

I joined in Nov and kept going all through exams. I know exactly what you mean about eating when stressed. I put on 5lbs during them but if I hadn't kept to group it would have been ten times worse. literally. Back on it know though. How are you finding not having a routine? are you working atm. The one thing i am struggling with is not having a routine because I have nothing to do then I get bored and eat. At least I'm trying to pick at good things like frozen grapes which are my new addiction atm.

Do do do..... sisters rom tonight and ended up down the pub with my family and sister's boyfriends mum... (as you do)... drinking pimms. Got home and had a curry and having a cider. I'm on duty for about 12 hours tomorrow which should be intersting to say the least. Shall report back tomorrow xxx

WI yesterday and i lost 2.5lbs :D chuffed because I'd had a really good week then went completely down hill on the weekend and I was not expecting it. I'm now only 2lbs off my "before exam" weight which I'm happy about as it goes to show that even when your stressed to the point you feel like giving up everything that things do turn around and get better :)
Also had an NSV yesterday, I only have one pair of shorts ehich are a size 20 and I can't wear them without them falling down on their own. With the warm weather I thought it was wayyyyy too hot to be wearing jeans so I went to have a scout round my sisters room and found a pair of size 14 shorts. So I thought I'd try them on just to see if I could get them on.... and the flippin' fit!!!! (they are on the tight side and theres a little breathing in needed but I can do them up).

So happy all round... especially with this weather!!!

Today hasnt been as good as it could have been but going to pull it back tomorrow and do some things in the garden to get me out of the house and doing something. I hate not having a routine!

Been on duty all day and although it wasn't too bad food wise it could have been a lot better. Had chicken curry for lunch. It looked a slightly better option than the cauliflower cheese. Had lots of salad with it so hoping it'll be ok. Had a whole punnet of frozen grapes for brekkie (i actually think i'm addicted to them!). Having a stir fry for tea which mum is making so should be pretty low syn.
My downfall was eating my way through a bag of maltesers. I don't even really like them but they were there in the car and I was hungry. I'm still hungry now and I wish I hadn't eaten them :(

Anywho... This weekend might be tricky as I'm going to stay with my aunt and uncle as my cousin has his school show then i'm babysitting saturday night so i wont have any control over the food or how its cooked.
I'm also going to the local theme park on monday (as long as my friends car gets repaired in time). I'm thinking about taking food with me but I know what I'm like and I won't touch it and will buy rubbish there which will mean spending even more money. I think i'll allow myself a burger or something but then take snacks for when i'm peckish.
I will be doing lots of walking so wont beat myself up if i do give in to temptaion :)
