Red face 5 Stone To Lose.....Again!....Sigh...

After finding this forum(which is fab, don't know how i didn't notice it yrs ago??) and browsing 'many' posts, I figured I need to start my own diary....

As the title suggests I need to lose 5st yet again!
The last time was with SW back in 2007 it took me 2 yrs to shift it but I did get there almost all bar 1st away from target!
Although this time my start weight IS 1.5 st less than before...it's time to have another go!

Another thing this time round is I have a lot less 'spare' time than i used to have...before I worked part-time and my kids were younger and I was in a different relationship/marriage..

Now, I generally work anything from 11-13.5hr days mon-fri (start at 06.15 and am not generally home before 7pm!), I only have one of my 3 children living with me...my teenage daughter(who could do with losing some weight too!) my 2 boys who are 17 & 18 live with their dad.

I was going to try and rejoin SW class last week, but alas I finished work too late
SO, I figured I will have to go it alone as such!

I still have SW books etc from when I last joined about 6 months ago, and I also have lots of books(recipe books) from yrs previous..

I am going to be getting married again next year , and I want to be at my goal weight or near enough by then!

It still so annoys me how I let the weight creep back on stone by stone!

I still have loads of clothes in sizes 12-14 that I want to fit back into..( i dig them out now and again and look at them like its something iv'e loved and lost )...and I hate the fact that at the moment i have about a dozen items of clothing that actually fit!...and I refuse to buy any 'bigger' clothes unless absolutely necessary!
I have gym membership that i've had for like a year and been probably 3 times!...no excuse there really....i need to go rather than come home and plonk myself in front of tv/pc for the evening!

Anyway i am going to make a start!
I need to figure out what to take to work packed lunch wise so i don't get bored and hungry,(i have to stop keep stopping at shops and burgers vans )
I think I may get my daughter to take some 'before' photos too

Well, let's hope keeping track on here I may get to shift the 5st again and keep it from returning!

    Ok, let's go!...off to make a start!

Thanks for the replies Doreen, SV82,tesam + specialk
have been trying to plan...just need ideas and more time

    Day 1
    Food for today

    B. 2 weetabix HEB
250ml SS milk on cereal + coffee

    L. Ainsley Harriet Spice Sensation cous cous 1/5 pack (2 syns?)
with chopped cherry tomatoes + cucumber
    Mandarin

    D. baked potato
4 laughing cow Light triangles HEA
1 rasher of bacon 85g (not sure of weight ,don't think it was 85g tho) microwaved then baked in oven (idea nicked off someone else LOL...but yummy )

    Snacks
    2 x chocolate snack a jacks 5 syns?
    apple
    pear
    2 carrotts

a long day at work again 13 hrs
only disappointment was , i thought i would take some hot water in a flask and make my couscous at lunch so it would be hot, but it wasn't hot enough it was okish though...
I hope by the end of the week my tummy has shrunk a bit as my work trousers are digging in round the waist a bit and making it itch.
And like most times when i get back on a diet i spend most of my day wanting to visit the loo!

It really doesn't leave a lot of time finishing work late to get food ready for the next day but i will persevere...and perhaps at the weekend get some things made up in advance
But on the whole i din't think i had a bad day food wise

Just a quick post before my early night.

The food is looking ok. Just a thought, one thing you could cook in advance towards work lunch is soup, if it is ready you could heat in the microwave in the morning -- time available of course- and put in a flask.
What about a food flask. Used to have one and found it quite good.
I`m not that good for lunches to take out, bad enough at home.
What about roasting peppers, corgettes, onion etc, Could take it in food flask with pasta. Actually I like it cold.

    Anyway, keep planning.

Hi zafira :-) I'm doing mostly red and green days too, EE seems to slow my losses down and it's a lot less practical a lot of the time!
I have to eat on the go too sometimes. For breakfasts iv been cooking boiled eggs the night b4, using my HE's for a ham and cheese sandwich or salad, cold couscous, cold brown rice with soy sauce and veg, have u tried the superspeed soup? If I fancy something hot I sometimes get boiled rice from the chippy and use my syns for curry or gravy. Fruit, muller lights, snack a jacks, hi fi's in my car too incase I'm home late stops me stopping at McD's :-)
Hope I cud help u good luck girlie xxx

Hi Lola, thanks for the input, some good ideas there!
I have only been trying to get back on plan this past week, and the first 2-3 days were fine but past couple of days and i've already gone off the rails

i really could kick myself for caving in to pasties/cakes/choclate already !
I really want to do this and know 'i can' but am really struggling for ideas for things to take to work, so i don't get bored, as at the moment i am working really long hours ...
(I am a truck driver for a haulage company, and deliver and collects pallets around the south coast/new forest area)

I am going to try my best tomorrow and friday to make wise choices , and at the weekend gather some more ideas and get planning/shopping/cooking/preparing etc..

I have emailed my local SW consultant and asked her about getting to class late? it starts 7.15 on tuesdays, and yesterday and last week i didn't finish work get home til almost 7.45 (bearing in mind my work/home/ and class are all literally 2 mins in the car from each other!)

I'm not giving up,just struggling with will power, time and effort!

I'm try think of more lunches for u chick, maybe try having a bigger breakfast so u only feel like a light lunch?
i find usually meetings take half an hour for every1 to get weighed so u might just be on time :-) or maybe look for a sat morning group? It's so hard working full time an sticking to the diet, I'm going to look at some recipes and freeze ova the wkend too.
Some1 mentioned home made syn free sausagerolls for a packed lunch il try that this wk it's basically bread dipped in egg, wrap it round a sausage, and bake in the oven il let u no how they go :-)

Aww, thanks lola, the only thing about breakfast is that is generally 'on the go' unless i can stop for 10 mins or so(depending on work load timed deliveries etc) and trying to have it before i go would be rushed as we only tend to get up about 30-40 mins before we start work at 6.15 am lol (my partner works at the same place too ) (generally just enough time to 'wake-up' shower and have coffee....lol )
I will get there though, i think this time round its just going to take a bit more research, thought and planning!
SW sausage rolls...now that sounds interesting
