Hi everyone. I've been on SW before and had good results, but didn't stick at it or maintain. This time round I am in a better frame of mind to do it properly. This site is definitely helping, although now I may need some internet-addiction-therapy... anyhoo...

McCain Jacket potato 1 syn

Muller Greek style yoghurt 0.5 syns

Notes-
I didn't have a HE B, I'm not a big bread eater, and unless I have porridge for breakfast I don't always eat my B.
Although I'd loads of fruit and veg throughout the day, I didn't have any with my lunch.

I need to fix both of those habits!

Had my post holiday weigh in last night, and had a gain of half a pound. I was thrilled skinny (ha!) with that, as was expecting that I might see +2 or *gulp* more.

Stayed to IMAGE Therapy, which I really enjoy, and feel back on track after it. My DH and I did share a take-away last night, as a treat. I enjoyed every morsel, and am happy that I got my salt and vinegar fix.

This week, we've nothing on socially, so I am going to try Success Express again. I REALLY want my stone next week, AND to complete the Oct-Jan challenge.

Looks like you're doing really well :) I'm not a huge bread eater either so struggled with my hexB's at first. Have you tried the Alpen light bars though? I have them as my hexb's and they're really nice!

Thanks Jessie, yes I really like the bars, but I don't often get them. I find them a bit expensive. Although, as I am doing SE this week I might get them anyway as I'll definitely need my HE Bs this week.

I am having soup for lunch today, so planning to have bread with it. Feels a bit odd, forcing myself to have it, but I can understand the logic behind it, so I'll plough on!

After a weekend at the inlaws, I am back on SE today. Stuck to EE over the weekend, but went over my syns by not tracking 100%.

Have Aldi Benefit bars instead of Alpen Lights for this week.
 
Yes, you can have 2 x Aldi Harvest Morn Benefit Light Bars as a HEX B. I've the chocolate fudge ones. They're smaller than Alpen Light bars, but they're tasty and they're a good bit cheaper.

Brill - now the Alpen Light bars aren't on offer they're becoming pretty pricey!!
 
Thursday 24th October

Eight weeks in, I've finally got my 1st stone award after losing 2.5 lbs last night. We have 9 weigh-ins to Christmas, so would dearly love to have 2nd stone award by then. 9 weeks, 13 pounds, sounds doable!!

Not been good at putting my diaries up here, but I have a notebook that never leaves my side. I think that's really kept me on track, I don't like writing down when I've over-synned!

After a fantastic Bank Hol weekend catching up with friends, I'm back on track this morning. Hoping for a maintain tomorrow. Not too worried, as I am going to have nights out / weddings / birthdays to contend with throughout my SW journey and beyond, so I have to learn to deal with them and move on from them.

Don't let a bad day turn into a bad week!

Managed to lose a pound after a pretty hectic weekend. 12 lbs to go and I'll have my 2 stone award. There are 8 weigh-ins to Christmas, so I want to get my award for then.

I've noticed I'm becoming a bit lazy on the old superfree, I have a good bit of it but can't really say it's a third of my meals. This week I am going back on Success Express, for at least 5 days. I've a night out on Sat, but planning on sticking to slimline tonic and lime (my pretend G&Ts!). I want at least 2 lbs off next week to get into the 14s, and to get me started on the countdown to Christmas.

I'm exactly the same with my superfree - I seemed to get into the habit of thinking that I could have a huge portion of rice and SW chips and curry and then like a tiny salad! A habit I've only recently broken - but doing Success Express should definitely help you along. Good luck getting into the 14s - you can do it :) !

I'm the same, I think my curry is brill cos it's all veg, but end up having a lot of rice and chips with it. Need to re-jig!

My diary is very neglected... had to scroll through my subscribed threads to find it :rolleyes:

Even though I've been OK at updating my notebook diary, I'm challenging myself to do the online account every day for next 3 weeks. My Christmas party is on 19th Dec, and I had hoped to get my 2 stone award for then. That's 9 lbs away, which would be AMAZING but unlikely, so I will settle for another half stone.

Today's food is looking like:

Breakfast- Ryvita, Mini Babybel Light and coffee (1/2 syn milk), 2x satsumas (Ryvita and Babybel from HEX)

Mid morning- banana and green tea

Lunch- Home made veggie soup, Ryvita and yogurt. Soup has swede, peppers, onion, cauli and broccoli. Too much broccoli... not a v attractive green colour!

Dinner- Pork stirfry, loads of veggies, brown rice.
