Having another go...

Slush Puppy

Is it lunch yet?
I had a bit of a meltdown a few months ago (finding out my jobs were likely to both end in the next few months) and came right off the diet, I have been comfort eating and found myself (almost) beack where I started.

I'm back to it as of today and hoping to be able to stick at it this time... at least I know what's coming in my life and I think I'm better able to deal with it without resorting to high fat foods!

I'm eaing into it... 8 syns so far today and not even had dinner :sigh: but I WILL get there... Last diet time around, the support on here was invaluable - I wish I'd comeback here rather than dropping off the scene altogether.

Welcome back Slush Puppy. Good luck with your new journey. Are you going to put your food diaries on here?

Welcome Back!
You'll find your SW groove again. At least you know this plan works and you have everyone here supporting and rooting for you :)

As you'll see with my status, I've fallen off track royally, this is my end week back on plan and I'm looking for people to follow and people to follow me. How about it? :D

Good luck slush, I'm having a tough time sticking to plan myself at the mo, life keeps getting in the way! xx

Thanks, Nanny Doreen :) That's the plan... I'm very embarrassed about what happened on my VERY FIRST DAY BACK, but from today, it's food diaries ahoy :D

Thanks, PandaNate, sounds like a plan ;) Is there a follow tool or do we sort of just 'stalk' other members? :D

It certainly does, Maverick... I'm working on not letting it happen so badly again :) Wishing you the very best of luck - I'll keep an eye out for you on here!

Thanks for the SW love, all xx

When you look at the top of the thread, it says thread tools and subscribe then you can see whenever a post has been posted :D

Well, that didn't work out.... Back on track with other half's support...

I'm a veggie, so obv a green day!

Breakfast (in bed!)
Quorn bacon sandwich (Bacon 1.5 syns, Butter 1 syn, Sauce 1 syn, Bread HexB)
Lunch
Fat free yoghurt
Dinner:
Boiled potatoes
Country veg soup (HexB)
Pasta
Quorn Best of British Sausage (2.5 syns)

Other stuff:
Sugar in my mugs of tea: 2
Milk in teas (HexA)
cheese on the makeshift veggie 'casserole': HexA

Thornton's advent calendar choc: 1 syn.

Total: 9 syns.

I think for dessert, I will have some fat free vanilla yoghurt and stir in some options hot choc powder for a yummy chocolately nom.

Today has gone quite well... I suspect that weekdays will continue to be difficult, as I run sessions where the group (despite youthworker input) continue to cook chips or pancakes or some such... it's really hard to not eat any when you're hungry and won't be home for hours..... More willpower will be needed!

Where did you run off too?

I'm only just starting back today, I have had just over a week off plan since being on holiday. x

I don't really know, PandaNate - throwing myself into work and study and I sort of forgot to concentrate on weightloss... but then I dug out the wii Just dance disks and got back to the diet and I'm feeling focussed... for the moment.I think the prob is I wasn't focussed enough to be on here regularly and here is what makes it easier! 30 mins of dance and only 3.5 syns so far today.... I'm gonna do it... HAVE to do it!

Welcome back, let's make this happen :D

I discovered I'd missed a day of my advent calendar chocs... so another syn on, but I *just* managed to not rip open the cupboards to satiate my choco-drive... I'mnot sure how long I can keep ignoring the fact that there is chocolate in the cupboard :sigh:

I'm still struggling, I think I'm going to restart on Wednesday as that's when I WI next. My boyfriend arrived home after being away all weekend and he usually helps control me of an evening, but instead we feasted on massive bowls of handmade nachos. I regret it as I woke up this morning feeling very sick, had anti acids but been feeling terrible all day.

I've just finished the bagels off so that's gone now. My stash of mini chocolates are gone now, so hopefully that's about all there is to make me fall off track. I'm at work from tomorrow, 3 days, 2 evenings so I should be able to get back onto plan well as working helps take my mind off it. My danger zone is when I get home and have to wait until my boyfriend gets home before dinner. (I finish at 3pm, get home near 4 and he's home 6-8 depending on if he works over). I eat my lunch at 10:30-11am on day shifts and 7pm on evening shifts.

So still doing okay on plan so far?
Have you just gone from where you left off or restarted everything. I've restarted everything, my stats on SW online and on here. xx

Oh noes  I hope you really enjoyed the nachos, then! Not that it would be a good thing, but SO much better than not enjoying it and then being ill :(

I have bought myself a bag of apples and I cut one into slices so I eat as a munchie style food (that plate/packet to mouth movement!!) whenever I get a munchie attack... Similarly, the other half and I work mis-matched shifts, but I'm the late one... My danger point is when the youth group are cooking and eating food which is not SW friendly! Tonight I drank LOADS of hot water with a little lemon juice and sweetener in to keep my stomach feeling fuller so I wouldn't crack... It worked!!

So still doing okay on plan so far?

So far, so good.... Yeah, I've restarted... after a short bout of illness, I was only half a stone off track, but the number screw with my mind and bring me down, so it was mentally healthier and more conducive to getting back to it to start from scratch and not keep feeling bad that I'm however many days/weeks in and still not where I was before- I can celebrate my achievements in their own right! :D

Good luck with the restart... Go easy on yourself, it's not easy to deal with weightloss and life altogether!! xx

I'm not there yet... can't go to class over the holidays because I'm busy with family and working both dates. I'll get there for the New Year. x

Hows your Christmas been? x

Hows your Christmas been? x

Not awesome, diet-wise, but I enjoyed it. I weighed and saw I'd put on about 4lb...maybe 5lbs... My scales aren't the easiest to read and I refuse to pay out for digital scales to mock me :p

So I'm just going with it. I feel healthier... OK, I had too many munchies, but I also ate more fruit and veg and got more exercise, so despite the weight gain, I'm feeling pretty good.

I also picked up a second-hand wii before Christmas and have been indulging in the dance games. A good 20 -30 mins a day of dance knackers me out, but I feel really buzzy :)

Back with it proper, as of today... screwed up breakfast by not checking syns before eating...

Breakfast: Sainsbury fruit loaf: 7 syns

Lunch: Porridge (HExB) with Skimmed milk (from HExA) and agave nectar (1 syn) Apple (free)

Drinks: Tea (with 1/2 sugar (1/2 syn)
Robinsons Fruit and Barley (made up: 2 pints) (free)

Exercise: Dance (30 mins)
My legs ache.

I'll not be able to stick to my 10 syns a day, today, but will try to stay below 15 and average out over the week.
