Well I have lost count of how many diaries I have started on here. But over the years have done every diet.

Then all of a sudden last week after a 2 years of flitting from WW to SW to Juddd to giving up dieting (beyond chocolate) to 5/2 and The Harcombe diet. I came to the sudden realisation that at almost 50 I have been dieting 35 years and the truth is I need a diet or eating plan that will work for ever. And reflecting back the time I have got to target and maintained within 7 ish pounds for the longest was with SW and most of the time on SW do not feel deprived and feel like I eat fairly normally.

Now if all that is true why did i ever stray? Well the truth of the matter is no matter how much I love SW I also would love a world where i can eat as much cake /chocolate and cheese as I want and not gain weight. Until that magic happens I need an eating plan I can live with .

I started back on SW last monday but have not gone back to group yet. I am not sure whether I will go back this tuesday or after christmas as in 2 weeks I go on a 21 day holiday !! But I would also like to lose a little before then will assess this tuesday .

I find an online diary the easiest way to look at my week and keep an eye on how I am doing.

So if you have read through that hope i get some visitors and comments

1 keeping it low as have lunch out tomorrow

I did SW first, moved onto WW ( lasted a week) then JUDDD in its many forms, Primal and THD, intuitive eating, low carb, back to JUDDD, Fast 5 and now calorie counting all in just over a year. Don't worry. :)

Today is going to be all about the fluids ! Rings are super tight . Plan on rejoining a SW GROUP tomorrow. A bit crazy as leave for 21 days holiday 2 weeks tomorrow. But thinking rebounding a group now will help me make the commitment to get straight back to it when I get back from holiday .

Just sat and ate my SW breakfast and absolutely loved it (nothing that exciting just 2 satsumas, loads of aldis frozen raspberries and yog) and wonderered bwy I ever fell out of love with SW please refer me back to this post if i start moaning about SW ever again lol

How did you get on at group?
 
Damn I wrote long post and forgot to send !

Group was good 11 6 on consultants scales
Which means 7 pounds to get back in target range .

Don't think I can do it before hols but will try to get off as much as possible

Do you use your fitbit still

D bacon and mushroom taglaitell carbonara from this months magazin. Was huge portions and hubby and I are big eaters we both had seconds and i have a huge bowl leftover. It was tasty but felt very stodgy would do the quark carbonara next time

I rarely drink so alcohol is not a problem. If i eat slowly and order a coffee with my dessert i MAY be able to just have a few bites..... watch this sapce. If not i will eat enjoy and back on it friday.

Welcome to my diary hope it doesn't bore you to tears :)

Last nights dinner was very tasty but POSH so small portions if I break down the syns my estimate is something like this

Starter
Smoked salmon terrine 7 syns for cream cheese as left half of it
With 2 very thin toasted bread triangles 3
Main
Turkey free
Veg free
3 small roasties 3 syns
Small stuffing square 4
2 pigs in blankets tiny ones 7
Tiny amount if gravy 1
Pudding
Chocolate fondant thing very small and not that good so I left half
Teeny scoop of ice cream
20 syns

I think I am overestimating for everything but happy to count it as 40 syns plus 3 for my advent chocolate
 
So as I had 41 syns available will just keep today low and go back to normal for the rest of the week

Working all weekend so as long as I don't pick at kids leftovers all is good :)
