Hey guys and gals my names maria
I'm starting slimming world on Thursday.
I'm doing a sponsored weight loss so far got 30 people woop woop.bit of pressure I weigh 17st and I'm getting married in June so hoping to lose about 4-5 stone min before then x its gonna be a challenge
Any newbies joining also would love to have a few of us starting all together sharing stories etc

Welcome and Good luck, my advice would be take it half a stone at a time rather than looking at as stones.

Thanks I went to my first group on thursday and I got weighed at 16st 8 so I've already lost half a stone before starting slimming world lol! I'm on day 2 and so far so good, although I'm finding the syns hard I've swapped wine to vodka and rum, my book is like my bible lol! Hope your okay

One thing I don't understand is that i've lost 7lbs but when uploading my ticker it says i've only lost 4 lbs and i've used the conversions on google and its saying 17st 1 is about 240 lbs and 16 stone 8 is about 236lbs so I'm a bit confused :/

There are 14lb in 1 stone. 17 stone 1 is 239lb and 16 stone 8 is 232lb Well done on the loss.
