Skulldilocks' Slimming World Diary Part II

Hello! I'm hoping some of my old subscribers will follow me to this new diary and I hope to meet some new faces along the way. I've hit a serious wall, I feel like I've tried everything on SW and its all gone wrong. When I do good its great but its been so up and down my graph looks like the jagged teeth of a shark! What's worse is that, in the countdown to Christmas, I've realised I've managed to regain back all the weight I had lost this year and am back to how I was LAST Christmas. I'm mortified.

This is where this new diary comes in. I weigh in on Wednesday and this week I'm going to ask my Consultant if I can re join, despite never leaving. I want a new empty book with no stickers and no massive plus signs. I want to deserve the stickers again. I don't know if this is allowed but I'm praying it can be because I think it is the ultimate way to draw a serious line. And if I can do this, I'd be needing a new diary on here too. I don't want to keep looking back at all the sulks and binges of the last diary. Plus, if I cannot get this "re-join" concept, at least I've kind of got it here. It may seem weird to decide to do this just before Christmas but I feel that if I don't, I will gain back ALL the weight over Xmas. This should keep me in check over the holidays.

Anyway sorry for the ramble but I hope this makes sense. Despite not weighing in until Wednesday, I wanted to try and restart the plan today, start of the week and all that. So expect my first food diary shortly :)

Hey hun! Just transferring over from your old diary.

I think the fresh start, rejoin and new diary is a great idea. Sometimes you just need to completely wipe the slate clean and start again.

You can do this. Behind you 100% of the way xx

So here is the first official diary post. Last night me and the other half went and did our big shop at Tesco and saved around £18 on all the good deals! One I would definitely recommend is the BOGOF on whole chickens! That's 2 chickens for £6.

So yesterday we chucked one of the chickens in the slow cooker (literally just skinned it and put it in whole) and from it made a lovely chicken and veg pie and then some Italian tomato and chicken soup from the Little Book of Soups. To start myself off on this "new" journey, we sat and went through all the old magazines and ripped out things we want to try and these were two of the new recipes. We had half of the pie last night, was lovely! Definitely going to do the chicken plan again, maybe this time with some curry as the final meal, yum :)

In other news one of my best friends is re joining SW on Wednesday and is going to come to my group with me! :D She was the one that inspired me to start SW in the first place, as I watched her lose 5 stone! She's gained about a stone back since reaching her first target and now wants to lower it as well, so we're in it together. Really hope it will help us both having each other and we're already planning double dinner dates now that we both have our own place! :D
Fingers crossed this is the final huge line to draw and from now on its only little cheeky ones!

Thanks lovely, I remember you started the new diary when you were struggling and how much it helped you. Glad to have you here, you're so positive at the moment and I hope it rubs off :D x

Hi Lily - pleased to meet you... welcome to Slimming World ;)

Your food looks FAB!! That chicken offer is amazing! xx

Thank you fellow Lil! It sounds weird doesn't it but I think I'm one of these people that needs strange psychology like this to snap the hell out of it! the chicken offer is so good! Kieran got so excited I'm worried I'll get home tonight and the freezer will be full of them haha! xx

Hey just subscribing... good luck on round two :)

My mind works the same as yours, I had losses for 10 weeks straight and the first week I maintained I then went off the rails, resulted in 2 gains and now I'm back into it... there is definitely some psychology to it!

Look forward to keeping up with your diary x

Hey, I don't think I've posted on your old diary but I did see it. I think your food looks great and your idea of a new diary and thus new start is fantastic, just keep going :)

This is my first day logging onto this site since July *embarrassed* however, I am VERY pleased to report that since stopping going to group in July I've had the grand total regain of 1, yes ONE, pound. That includes a 3 week holiday to Thailand. Have to say, I am delighted. Back on the straight and narrow though, so on the forums and back to gym today (first time in, god, I don't even know)

Nervous!!

1 lb in that time is amazing! Thank you for joining me and I look forward to seeing you get back on it :D

Thank you to everyone who has already subscribed! It really means a lot! just had the soup for lunch and it was gorgeous, really filling I highly recommend it from the Little book of soups

So grateful for so many of you already following me, I really do appreciate it! Day 1 was a success, I had a hot choc after my dinner and that brought me to a total of 4 syns and I just genuinely didn't feel I needed anymore.

Tonight I'm going to the gym! I've re-joined Pure Gym as Curves just wasn't doing it for me, plus the short opening times made it near impossible for me to make it anyway! My friend that is re-joining SW with me already goes so I'm going to go with her tonight. Anyway, today has no excuse to go off the rails as all my meals are already prepared!

Ooh, your chicken pie sounds nice!! xx

Ooh, your chicken pie sounds nice!! xx

We had the first half of it on Sunday and it was lush. Obviously it has stock and seasoning and it was so nice and comforting :) The recipe was from one of the SW mags but I think the recipe is very similar to one on the 2013 calendar. x

It definitely makes a difference having a friend doing it with you ... there is about 6/7 of us doing it together now and it has been a big help!! :)
