Well I'm back on SW for about the 4th time. I've been a bit here and there over the past year. Over last year, and the beginning of this one, I was a member but wasn't doing well and had to give it up due to lack of funds as an oh so poor student. I went away and did a VLCD instead. Lost 3 stone on that and only gained half when I came off it. I maintained for a few months but then finished uni, moved hose (and country), and started a new job. I was in accommodation for my first 5 weeks after the move with pub meals provided. And I gained it all back :( It's been a rough few months and I hate being this weight so it was time for a change. I considered doing a VLCD again but with my new job, and xmas coming up, it just wouldn't have been practical. So back to SW it is! I know it works and I know I can do it whilst working shifts. I joined my local group last night and today I've done a massive shop.

First day down and I've been 100%. As a fussy eater it's been difficult finding stuff I can take on shift that I'll actually eat but I've somehow managed it. My work food is sandwiches but that's now changed to pasta which will hopefully help keep my energy up during the long hours I work.

Anyway I'm back on it and planning on putting in 110% to lose this weight. I've ordered Kettleworx to help with the fitness and it's go go go. Wish me luck! :wavey:

I'm the same as you, lost 3 stone. Gained it all back plus another 1st 2lb whilst pregnant. Still have 1st 7lb to go!

Well done for coming back so close to Christmas, it's not an easy time especially with all the socials going on, but with minis support you will get there :)

Thanks. Well day 2 done. Didn't manage to stay 100% today :( Got made to eat some fruit cake at work and then ate some bread and marge that was over my allowance. But was still one heck of a lot better than I felt like being. Just shows me how hard it's going to be at work but I know I can do this even if I'm not 100% all the time. It's going to be a long slow process but as long as I change my ways I'll get there.

I work long hours and v unsociable ones too so maybe we could help each other out if we get stuck for meal ideas?
I really dislike how colleagues can put on the pressure for you to eat. Anyone in general actually. And they seem to do it more so when you're losing weight. How frustrating!

Well last week wasn't great. Not planning well + working almost constantly + not feeling well meant I didn't sick to plan, even though I did keep it in mind. However, still managed to lose 2lb. New week now though and back on it 100%. Hoping for a 5lb loss this week so I can get my half stone but I'll be happy with just a loss.
 
Grrr feel like the only way I can do this is if I sewed my mouth shut! Need a good old boot up the ass.
 
2lb loss this week so 4lb off in total. Can't say I've been even close to 100% but I've cut back and started to think more. Come the new year I'll get properly back on the wagon. My goal for 2014 is to lose 7lb a month, so 6 stone over the year which will bring me not too far off target.
 
Wasn't able to make it to my normal group Monday due to a lovely dose of d&v so been to group today. I've lost 4lb over Xmas and new year! That means I've got my half stone and I also got slimmer of the week. Now to tackle the rest of the week head on.
 
Well after a great loss Wednesday I know this Monday will be a gain. The last 3 days I've probably eaten 3 months worth of syns! So fed up of junk now though I can't wait to get back to nice healthy filling food. I'm so bloated :(
 
4 and a half pound gain this week. Fully expected but it'll be off next week. Bring it on!
 
Thanks. Weights already coming off again. This morning was 2lb down from Monday :)

On another note I can't stop thinking about food! After breakfast all I could think about was how long it was till lunch and since lunch all I can think about is how it is till dinner. I don't know why as I'm not hungry. Think it's just because I'm bored and have nothing else to think about.
 
You could write my essay for me! That would take your mind off it for sure. (I'm currently doing anything that will take my mind off the essay).
 
1lb off this week. Rather gutted as I was hoping for more but it's better than I expected. Just need a total kick up the butt now. Tomorrows a new day and I'm going to be 100%!
