Happy Saturday everyone :)

After being on and off Slimming World for the last two years I'm signing up again the at the start of January. I think I am probably around half a stone heavier that when I began in January 2011. I've mucked around for long enough and I am now determined to beat the bulge forever.

I know in myself I need to lose weight, but a recent trip to my GP has just enforced this. I have a fatty liver, high(ish) blood pressure and am at risk of developing diabetes. One of the other reasons, apart from my health, for wanting to lose weight is my husband and I plan to try for a family in the Summer of 2014. I would like to be a healthy BMI by then to give me a better chance of conceiving and to have a healthy pregnancy.

I can't join class again until the 8th January but have made a start with the basics of cutting out alcohol, junk food and trying to get a bit of exercise so I may even lose a few pounds before I sign up!

So the next six months are all about getting fit and healthy and being in the best shape I possibly can be for hopefully becoming pregnant, wish me luck!

Thanks Maverick, good luck to you too when April comes! Hopefully by this time next year we will both have something wonderful to celebrate in the New Year!
 
Well this time next week I will have had my official weigh in....I'm really not sure what it will come in at but hoping it's not any more than 14st 5lb. We will see I guess!

Sooooo looking forward to next week and getting started!
 
That's me signed up for the gym again, used it quite a lot in the first part of last year but not really been much in the last 6 months. Also going to look into Yoga classes, I know they won't exactly be fat burning but meant to be good for the mind, body and soul!
 
Weigh in update - not as bad as I thought!

I have lost a grand total of 1lb since I last went to SW two years ago! So although not the progress I should have made (lol!) at least I haven't put anything on over the last few years.

Did my shopping today so all good to go first thing tomorrow for day 1!

That's me on day three and loving being back on it!

Having a green day today. Just had Linda McCartney sausages, egg, beans and SW chips for dinner - it was amazing!

Hope you're all having a nice weekend :)
 
Day 4 and still 100%

Just had lamb casserole, lots of carrots and turnip in there and had cabbage on the side too, lovely!
 
Another green day today.

Breakfast was mushroom omelette.
Lunch pasta with tomato and basil sauce.
Dinner quorn stir fry.

Have made up some pickled onions with cheese (hex a) on a cocktail stick to snack on later in front of the tv, very seventies/eighties style food lol!
 
Gutted!

Went to WI tonight....I stayed the same!! Can't believe it. It was my first week and can honestly say I've stuck to the plan 100%. I had forgotten to take my diary sheet along to show her but she says to give her a call tomorrow and we can go through it. All the other times I've been on SW I've always lost 2 or 3lbs in my first week. Disappointed!!
 
After yesterdays disappointment, I haven't let it get to me too much and I'm sticking with it 100%.

Today I've had 40g All Bran (hexb) with a raspberry Mullerlight and a banana.

Lunch was chicken with a huge salad (lettuce, tomatoes, carrot & peppers) with a bit mayonnaise (measured - 3.5 syns).

Tonight I'm going round to my friends and she's going to make me something separate as she's making macaroni cheese - lots of cheese and butter eeeeek! She's going to do me a tomato sauce for my pasta, will work out the syns but shouldn't be more than a couple depending what she puts in it.
 
I bet u will have a big catch up loss next week, keep at it xx

Thanks Maverick, I really do hope so!

Last night I went to a friends for tea. She had made macaroni cheese (with lots of cheese and butter eeeek!) for her and our other two friends. I was so good and had pasta with a tomato and basil sauce instead, it was so nice! She had made a huge salad also so I filled up on that. They then had New York Style Cheesecake and I had a Mullerlight - can you see that shiny halo?!

Yesterday I went for a 40 minute walk and today it was 35 minutes, feel good for it. Also got something to write on my Body Magic sheet, get my first award in a few weeks time hopefully!
 
Well done with the meal, is have quickly given in!! II need some motivation to do some body magic too, just can't find it at the moment!!

I normally would have too Laura (just noticed your name in your sig!) but I am so determined to have a loss this week that there's no way I would cheat! Can't face the thought of standing on those scales and being told I've either stayed the same or put on! Maybe it's a good thing I didn't lose anything last week lol!
