New Year, New Start so lets start well :)

Im going to use this post for my ramblings on about slimming down, food diary 's, hard days, good days etc...

Also i hope you will join me so we can support and encourage each other with recipe ideas, syn knowledge and special offers etc...

Just added the pics for any of those that are new to SW x We all learn in different ways and so these pics really help those that learn from pictures or remembering photos instead of reading words xx I learn by memorising the pictures as it seems to stay in my mind longer than if I read x
 
I got weighed yesterday after not really sticking to anything longer than a few days last year. I had the shock of weighing loads more than I thought and im the biggest I've ever been so I really must do it this time!

Current Weight: 17stone 2.5lbs
Main Target: 9 stone 7lbs

1st Interim Target: 15stone 3lbs
2nd Interim Taget: 14stone 8lbs
3rd Interim Target: 13stone 7lbs
4th Interim Target: 13 stone
5th Interim Target: 12stone
6th Interim Target: 11stone
7th Interim Target: 10stone
8th Interim Target: 9stone 7lbs


I have a lot of health conditions Ive got to slim through lol and a hubby who works nights so sleeps diring days, two boys one who is autistic and has ADHD and Hyper-mobility Syndrome so it might be an up down up journey but willing to try my best x

Im being treated for the following:
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Lupus
Fybromyalgia
Vitamin D Deficiency
Chronic Migraines
And a possible soft tissue disease but still having further tests, also waiting to be checked a second time for Carpal Tunnel in both hands.

All in all I am on nearly 30 tablets a day so side effects play a big part too!
Im on the following medications but hope as I lose weight I can reduce them-

Hydroxychloroquine
Naproxen
Sertraline
Gavapentin
Tramadol prolonged release
Cholecalciferol
Amitryptoline
Antibiotics
Occasional steroids
Fibre tablets

Im only 31 so this year has been a bit of a shock lol but know that slimming down will help a lot! The lupus and arthritis may not be curable but at least losing weight will help me in other ways xx So im trying to stay positive :)

How about you? Whats made you take the step this new year? Xx

Todays food diary

Breakfast - fruit and muller light

Lunch - pasta n sauce / salad

Dinner - sw quiche (eggs, quark, ham, mushrooms, onions, spring onion, peppers, grated carrot)
Sw chips & salad balsamic vinegar 2 syns for salad cream light

Snacks/drinks - tea (HEa skimmed milk) squash (no sugar) satsumas, strawberries, red grapes, rasberries.
5 syns for popping candy freddo bar
 
Today -

Breakfast - fruit muller light

Lunch - pork chop sandwhich (HEb wholemeal) 2 syns flora light mixed salad sweetcorn balsamic vinegar salad cream light 3syns

Dinner - ww sausages 1.5syns mash vedge n gravy 3syns

Snacks drinks etc - 6 syns 2 x SW Hifi bars satsumas, banana, grapes, low cal squash,

Didn't have breakfast today as my 4yr old was up in the night crying about a bad dream bless him which meant K was really tired and my medication knocked me out until 11.45am lol

For lunch I had an Alpen light bar (HEb) , fruit and low cal jelly pot (home made) 1.5syns

Dinner sw cottage pie, veg 3 syns for gravy

Snacks, banana satsumas tea with HEa skimmed milk

Sorry to hear about your illnesses :-(
