    So as people can see I've been a member of Minimims for a few years. I've started and stopped a number of diets over the years and not succeeded. Life and kids seem to get in the way!
    Why am I back this time..... Well I want to learn to ride a motorbike. I did my CBT before Christmas and god was it hard. My size made it very uncomfortable and I struggled a lot. The instructor sat me down before he gave my certificate and advised me that I should really loose a bit of weight. It's something I've wanted to do since I was a teenager so I've got to do it.

    Why corseted you ask! Well I've always been interested in 'costume' not in the naughty way, I'm quite partial to the quirky like steam punk. When I was a kid I wanted to dress like the girls in Seven brides for seven brothers ( not mad in the slightest!!!!) but I randomly found a website that does amazing 'proper' steel boned corsets and loads of you tube on wearing them as everyday underwear, well the little rebel in me couldn't resist so i ordered a selection of styles and sizes to try and they arrived this morning!! Blow me over but 2 of the sizes are "too big" did you hear me "TOO BIG"". A real NSV if ever I knew one. So now I have one on I can defiantly see the plus sides to them. You feel sexy, slim and boy you don't want to eat. They make your boobilies look amazeballs !!!


    So the weight bit has to be mentioned really so here goes I weighed in yesterday (day1) at 20st. My first target is 19st and I'm aiming on being there by 31st jan.

    I love Steam punk and corsets, but I've been putting off getting anything decent (Including clothes) until I'm down to where i want to be, I just don't have the confidence for them at the moment. How brill you must have felt that 2 were too big!!

    I think the first step is getting on the scales, it can be scary, but now you've done that you're well on your way to a lovely, slimmer and more happy you.

    Get one, I feel amazing!! Google corset story uk. They have a sale on at the mo. I got 1 for 15 then a free one because they were bogof in the sale.

    Nice homemade crab cakes for lunch. Ds1 thought they were very tasty (bless, he thinks that they weren't diet food!!!)

    Cajun spiced chicken or tea (OH impressed, might try some more of the SW food)

    Well 5am wake up call and I've laid in bed for an hour waiting to use the shower (OH takes forever in the bathroom), uniform ready to go just got to get moving ....... But it's so cold!!!

    Do it. Even if you just wear it round the house to do your cleaning ( yes I am one of those women that wears their wedding dress every now and then )

    First day back at work and I'm shattered. The guy I was working with does nothing but whinge. Long story short he's a tool!!

    Normally sauces and alcohol (the evil sauce lol) occasionally chocolate if I need it. I lost a lot of stones before I had my last 2 kids by structuring in 2 curly wirlies, a toffee crisp and a couple of drinks every week. It helped me to think that if I want them I can't have x,y,z.

    I feel yuk. All achy and stiff, could close my eyes and sleep for a few weeks

    Written out a shopping list and sent OH out to get it all!! Safest way to avoid buying rubbish

    Breakfast/ brunch was ham and eggs mmmmmm so scummy and syn free

    Having a lazy day with the boys watching cartoons and reading minimins looking for more inspiration and recipes
