Hello all

It has taken me some time to find a forum that is so supportive and friendly and like minded in the sense of sharing stories of their weight loss journeys. Over the last year my confidence has not been that great for one reason or another began to notice the gradual increase in weight.

I also noticed the gradual decline in the things I used to enjoy & would like to find the old me again:)

I feel the SW , healthy eating I will call it is perfect for me and have only started it this week so it is early days for me at the mo.

I have over the last few days read lots of threads and one thing that has really stood out is the importance of keeping a food diary and thanks to finding this forum and so many friendly people I have made the first step and going to start my own SW food journey:)

I have a holiday booked for March which has given me something to focus on. All inclusive which I am feeling a little unsettled as I don't want to put on too much weight.

Any support is welcomed :) thank you.

Hiya. Well done you for being so proactive and motivated. That 2 st will be gone in no time. We're all here for you xxxx

Morning all have decided to start my food diary from Monday. Yes I'm an odd creature and like to start things from the beginning of the week:). I think I am doing okay?

Made a lovely homemade carrot soup yesterday using fry light instead of butter which is good for me and have not been adding any butter to my veggies.

Yay I think I am slowly beginning to get the hang of SW

Feeling good made it to gym this morning. Now to keep the motivation up:-/

Sound like your going in the right direction :)

Aaahhhh thanks.

Well! It's my first day back to work and will see how I can manage with SW within my working day. I hope so:-/

breakfast- porridge pear and a cup of tea.

I get a feeling you would be much more suited to Extra Easy (EE).

EE allows you to mix foods (pasta + meats etc) Zafira's right, the books do help.

When I do meatballs, they are syn free :) Extra Lean mince, herbs and spices, Passatta etc

For chocolate, I freeze Curly Wurly's and as I take them out of the freezer I break them into small pieces (whilst still in wrapper) and then I can take 15 mins eating one...loverly!

I think to have bars of Galaxy lying around is dangerous. If you need a choc fix you could consider CW's, Freddo Bars, Fingers of Fudge (5 1/2) or even get yourself sachets of Options...Trick with them is to only fill your mug to the 3/4 mark...Makes for such a lovely choc drink.

Ahhhh thanks ever so much fat2go I had a feeling I was kind of following the EE. I like the idea of frozen Curley wurleys to be honest I am not a big chocolate eater so that a good thing. For me when at work it's remembering to keep things around to snack on when on the go. I have been taking carrot sticks fruits etc... And remember to drink plenty of water. Yesterday I forgot to drink anything during the day and my sugar levels dropped and ended up with a migraine :-(

Also yourself and zafira recommending get books...thanks x. I am fortunate I enjoy cooking from scratch and have quickly adjusted to using fry light.

Is laughing cow okay to have with my jacket potatoes I have been having this sometimes as an alternative to butter. Tastes quite yummy.

Which are the best hot chocolates to go for syn wise?

once again thanks ladies x

Hello ladies just managed to by a SW starter pack for £10 including postage. Chuffed to bits this will really help me on my way especially as I can't get to a slimming world group.

Excited x
