Cottonmouth's weight loss diary
For those that haven't seen my post in introductions - I've been on (and more often, off) Slimming World for a couple of years now, and after losing a couple of stone and my weight going up and down with my motivation I am now only a few pounds lighter than where I started years ago!
After being a reader of this forum for a long time I've decided to join in. I started following the plan properly a fortnight ago and I have started going to the gym regularly to do the Couch to 5k challenge and a few other bits besides.
I've lost 7.5lb in the last 2 weeks but I know that my motivation tends to be short-lived so I'm going to keep a diary on here and hopefully join in on the other threads too, as I find many of the posts on here so inspiring.
My confidence has gone to pot and I feel like a shadow of who I was a few years ago, even my friends are commenting now on how my opinion of myself is holding me back in life.
I'm getting married in May next year and currently, the idea of trying dresses on in a shop, in front of my best friend TERRIFIES me - so I don’t know how I will ever get down the aisle if I don't do something about me weight and my confidence.
So, I started a fortnight ago, I'm having my weighs in on a Monday. The first week I lost 7lb and the second (this morning's weigh in - I lost 1/2lb - which I'm a bit gutted about ifI'm honest - which is why I thought I'd join in on here to try to make me plan and keep on track.
