I've been doing SW online since mid-January and had lost 9lb. I'm quite a slow loser but that is fine as I know that a loss is a loss so even half a pound off is better than a maintain. Anyway, I work shifts and am out of the country a lot with my job. I food optimised 100% last week and did lots of body magic, especially as I knew that this week would be tougher to do so as I have the week off work and have various social occasions lined up. However, when I weighed myself I was dismayed to find that I had actually somehow gained half a pound!
I think that if I hadn't food optimised I would have accepted it as it would have been my own fault but I just feel cheated because I think I deserved that loss. In addition, this might sound a little melodramatic but I haven't lost a massive amount of weight, so even though it is only half a pound it almost feels like I might aswell have gained half a stone!
I'm trying to keep it in perspective but my gain has upset me and I am feeling a bit discouraged. Any words of wisdom/inspiration/encouragement would be greatly appreciated. I can't get to a group to discuss it with any fellow slimmers because of my job so minimins is a real lifeline to me.

Hello! Argh yes...going to just have to hope for a loss (even half a pound will do!) next week but I'm not really all that hopeful as I won't really be on plan for some of this week. Felt really fed up yesterday evening and ended up eating lots of synful foods...but then I did really enjoy it as I haven't eaten a lot of these foods for a long time! Going to draw a line under it and get back on it today. I have just under 2 stone more to target to go...starting 12.5, target either 10 or 9.11 (I'll decide a bit nearer to target when I have a better idea as to how I'll look!)
I had a really tough day yesterday too had a very sinful meal out lastnight but back on the wagon today.It really does take a lot of thought & effort & planning to lose weight doesn't it?! but goes on so easily!! Have a good week & hopefully you will see a loss x
I'm back on the wagon- glad to hear you are too! I've started today off well but am off out tonight so the food optimising may give way...but that's okay, I'll flexi syn it and stay on plan when I can. Hopefully last week's loss will catch up and I'll have a super loss this week instead ;) This weight loss lark really does take it out of you emotionally- some real highs and some real lows, despair, frustration along the way too!! Fingers crossed for a good loss for you next week too :) xx
