    What do people eat/drink/do on weigh in day?

    Hi at group I always hear people say they haven't eaten since lunch so they can have a treat after weigh in!

    Or I've had superspeed all day!

    Or they rush to the bathroom!

    Or they strip off?

    Anyone else got any weird and wonderful weigh in rituals?

    Hey Sammie,

    well, I do some of that but some things are a bit OTT in my personal opinion. I drink gallons of water throughout the day so on weigh in day (coz it's in the evening) I do stop drinking water a few hours before because I could easily be 2lb heavier just in water weight.
    And because I have quite a long drive to go to the group, I do use the loo before going in coz I usually need to. And yes I would take heavy stuff off like my coat or big cardigans. But that's it.
    Some people strip down like they expect a full physical which I do find a tad extreme. But whatever people choose to do is fine. My first meeting though was a bit of a shock, everyone lining up in their little vest tops.

    I find it amazing to watch done even swear by breathing out before getting on the scales for that extra 1/2!

    It is so funny isn't it. Who are we kidding when wearing lighter clothes to make the scales read lighter? Having said that, the first group I ever went to had a policy of encouraging people to wear the same clothes week after week for continuity of weight. Oh, the delight of having to take in trousers that were too tight when I first bought them, and watching others do the same.

    You will I've done it three times now and now and am back to the beginning again, so I do know what you mean. But this is the start of the journey, we will get there.
