Hello everyone, I joined Slimming World in June and have lost 1st6lbs. I'm really enjoying the plan so far and have been 100% on it since I started. I have done SW before but I didn't really enjoy it first time around. Me and my OH are off on holiday to Greece next year so I want to get as much off as possible before then, I have over a year to do it which is do able! I have been overweight/obese most of my life but it's now time to change that and get healthy!

Today's food plan.
Red Day

Breakfast
2 x Weetabix (Hexb) 250ml Semi Skimmed Milk (Hexa) Slice Of Toast (800g Loaf - Hexb) 10g Butter (1.5) WW Pink Grapefruit Yogurt, Kiwi, Apple

Lunch
Chicken Breast Stuffed With 30g Garlic & Herb Philly (2.5 Syns) Carrots, Broccoli

Dinner
Steak (Fat Removed) Cheesy Scrambled Egg (30g Cheddar - Hexa) Broccoli, Onions, Tinned Tomatoes


Snacks
Crisps (6.5 Syns) Options White Hot Chocolate (2 Syns)

Syns - 12.5

Welcome Lola - lovely to have you here and awesome effort so far. The girls here are great and honestly I think this forum has been a big part of keeping me on track and focusing. Writing down what you eat I think is really good!

Hello Blondcat, thanks for popping in :D I love this forum too, I get lots of support and meal ideas from here. I thought I'd make my own diary so I can be honest with myself and see where I've gone wrong. xx

Slight change of plan today as I'm off out with a friend who wants to eat at McDonalds, so I'm going to have the grilled chicken salad without dressing for 1 syn. My willpower will be tested sitting in there lol! So going to have that for tea and have what I had planned for tea for lunch instead. x

Well I better get moving, off to meet my friend then I'm going to go swimming for an hour! Swimming used to be a no go a few months a go but now I love it, got to get fit somehow ;)

Well done on the weight loss so far, I've just started to subscribing to food inspiration and motivation! Lunch looked lovely!
 
Evening all, back from seeing my friend and swimming.. had a lovely few hours. The pool was quite empty to my suprise so I was happy about that! I usually spend longer in there but tonight I didn't have much energy at all so an hour was good for me :) We went to McDonald's, my willpower was tested to the max but I did it, stuck with my grilled chicken salad like I said, but I did have the dressing which was an extra 1.5 syns but it was a better choice than a cheeseburger ;)
Anyone else notice that you get strange looks asking for a salad in there?! I had to wait half an hour for it, I'm guessing they don't make them often lol x
 
Hi lola. Well done on ur amazing loss so far. Where in Greece are u going? I'm off to corfu in 4wks and have 4stone to lose lol! Realistically though I'm gonna try so hard for 8lbs but sadly i think i may have put on a 1lb or 2 this week **sighs **
Anyway this place is amazeballs. It certainly has helped me keep on the straight and narrow..bar on or two wee slip ups along the way.
Looking forwars to reading more of ur updates x

Hahaha lola have u been before. I've never been to corfu and i am hugely looking forward to it abso cant wait. We are going to sidari.
I have totally no clothes...all mine are so ill fitting. Last yr i lost 2 stone before my holiday cos otherwise all my clothes would never have fit. Now they are slightly too big but sometimes asize 18 is too small **sigh**
Really need these 8lbs off, although doubt I'll do that by sitting here on my fat a**e lol!

Finishing today on 15 syns, still got my white hot choc to look forward to later too :) Now I'm well into the plan I'm finding it much easier, first few weeks were a bit hit and miss because of cravings but they seem to have disappeared now :clap:
Going to spend tonight catching up on some TV and writing my food plan for next week, I want to try a new recipe posted in this thread >> http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world-recipes/317773-delicious-meals-minimum-ingredients.html called the 'easy balti chicken' which sounds amazing! Will fit it in somewhere, maybe the weekend.
