Hi Everyone!

I'm thinking about joining SW but not sure if it will work for me?! I'm 5'3 and 9st8 so I'm not over weight but I'd live to get down to 8st 10 ish! How with all the free food can I lose weight? I'm worried I will go over board and end up putting it on! Please help and advise me :) thankyou xx

Basically just because food is free doesn't mean you have to eat it all! I would say it will depend on what you eat now. If you eat lots of junk and takeaways etc then you will find yourself losing weight. If you already have a healthy diet then a few minor tweaks might be enough, like switching to fry light instead of oil or using fat free yoghurts. But I would definitely join a class, get all the info and you can discuss with your consultant which plan would work best. Good luck!

I know and this is what may be my downfall! I love food!

You'll probably lose weight then, you can eat a lot and still lose. I was worried you didn't eat much and were planning to start eating loads more because it was free. I've always eaten a lot, and I mean a lot of crap. Now I'm eating more food than ever but still losing, because its the right sort of food. You should give it a go, don't expect big losses because you haven't got much to lose but it should come off. Think of it as a long term plan for a healthy way of living - definitely not a quick fix fad diet (but they never work anyway). Best thing is if you reach your target you can go to class for free as long as you stay within 3lbs of your target weight. Loads of help and advice on here when you need it too. Best of luck!
